Diversions Puzzles & Games — Attraction in Somersworth

Such a great play to pick up a board game or trading card game. I found myself in the store in January of 2025 to pick up a gift for our best friends and we ended up getting the Disney Lorcana Gateway set. My friends and I opened the set at our place and I was instantly hooked. Lucky for me Diversions has a really cool built in Lorcana scene where they have a league that meets every Thursday. As someone who works from home, this was a place I found community and everyone is so nice and inviting there. I highly suggest Diversions to anyone interested in learning a new game or just wanting to spice up a hang out session with an interesting board game. They also have little knick knacks for kids, legos, stuffed animals, accessories for games, etc. Perfect location too if you think about it because there's plenty of food places nearby and it's located right off the highway. We stumbled upon this store by sheer chance and were absolutely delighted when going inside. This toy, puzzle, and game store is located in a large plaza with plenty of parking. My husband spotted the sign when we were intending to visit a different store, and we decided to check it out. The store has a plethora of games ranging from board to card, puzzles, Lego sets, and more for all ages. There's a small selection of plush dolls, Dungeons and Dragons miniatures and books, and Pokémon cards. In the back of their space are tables and chairs where people can play games, probably with a reservation, but we saw a group using it and I'm always happy to see spaces for this intended purpose. I've been visiting Diversions in Portsmouth for over 8 years now. However, lately it has been more and more difficult to make it there with the commute and dealing with parking. You can imagine how excited I was when I heard Diversions would be opening up their 3rd location down the street from me.

I've already stopped in a couple times since they opened and their selection of games and puzzles are astounding. The staff are very helpful and willing to assist in anyway they can.
