Overpriced but decent food, store is managed by a young girl that doesn't understand food service or hospitality. Took my son there as a treat for being acceptionally well behaved. He's very sensitive to anything remotely spicy so I ordered him a double cheese burger with only ketchup and an 8 dollar double cheeseburger for myself. And mini ice cream that's approximately 3OZs and costed almost 5 dollars. They immediately called our order and when I went to the counter they only have the tiny ice-cream ready. I told my son he needs to eat the burger before the icecream, as is common practice for all parents. 14 minutes later when the burger was ready the ice-cream was completely melted. Suspicious of the competence of the restaurant crew I checked to make sure the burger does in fact have just ketchup, and found that the only ketchup part was completely overlooked and had mustard and pickles. Slightly frustrated that my son's ice-cream was completely melted and they messed up the expensive 6 dollar burger, I was slightly less frustrated knowing that I may be able to regain some of the lost value due to their mistake by having an extra burger for later. They asked for the burger back so they can throw it away before they start to make the burger that I asked for. Traditionally when fast food restaurants makes a mystake they try to make it right and in my experience let you keep the wrong item as a way of compensation. Not here, here if they make a mistake they treat you like a criminal and they prefer to waste food over allowing you to reap any benefit. They didn't care at all that my son didn't get to eat the ice-cream we ordered, rather it was chocolate soup. Every other fast food place is a better option if you value your money, time, and a friendly...
Read moreRUDE RUDE RUDE!!!!!!! I sat in line for almost TEN MINUTES in the 80 something degree heat with my sick 3 year old while he screamed and cried due to sitting in line so long. I order get to the window and at that point my 9 year old changes her mind bc she was having a hard time thinking with her brother screaming right no big deal it happens. So I ask very politely hey I'm sorry but she's changed her mind can we please change one of the slushies to a milkshake? I'm given an attitude immediately and told no sorry you can't well I say ok then I'm not paying for that item though so please take it off. I proceed to try to explain that my son was crying and it was hard to hear my daughter she cuts me off and says under her breath but unfortunately for her loud enough for me to hear it "well that's not my problem he was crying" excuse me?????? Nice customer service!!! At this point I am getting angry and QUICKLY at that! IF YOU CANT HANDLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FIND A NEW JOB BECAUSE FAST FOOD ISNT FOR YOU!!!! I'm a manager myself at a much better and respectful company and if a member of my team spoke to customer this way they'd be SENT HOME. Kindness goes a long way!!! After I drove off I realized they never gave me a drink I ordered. The "owner" REFUSED to give me his name and contact info for higher up. Says a lot!!!!! I've had nothing but rude interactions at this DQ and today was my final straw!!! I'll never spend another penny at this place. Ever!!!! It's gross anyway. RUN...
Read moreLast night, 5/4, my husband and I wanted to try out the special 2 for 4 cones. It was about 8:00, and the dairy queen light was off, but there were cars in the drive thru wrapped around the building. We went in through a side door and surprised a worker who was sitting in a booth. She told us the dining room was closed. We then got into the drive thru line and waited probably close to 45 minutes. Others had attempted to enter the building while we were in line also. I checked the website where it said the hours were 10-10 for the dining room, and 10-11 for drive thru. Once we finally got to the window the other it was painfully obvious there was a problem in there. We asked out of curiosity if they were still serving food, because of the wait, and she said yes, but they were probably going to stop serving and close down, as they had three people working. Another worker was making a sign to put outside that they were closing. First they gave us one small cone. The special is mediums. My husband said that doesn't look like a medium, and the woman said, oh, you wanted medium? I'll make one for you! So one came out and we waited and waited for five minutes for the other one. It was just a terrible experience. There is nothing right with this place at the moment and until management cleans house and hires people who want to treat and serve customers correctly, we will...
