We had our wedding here this past August. Originally scheduled in May. The Brick and Keith were very easy to work with when we moved dates. Our deposit was transferred and we had no penalty fees for moving days. We were so thankful not to lose our venue after we had found it and it was PERFECT. The beauty is in the details here. Funky bathroom deco. Industrial feel with a loft area- where myself and my bridesmaids waited Pre-ceremony. The exposed brick and large windows and lighting are backdrops in themselves. The bar area is the best part. There’s high top seating attached. I think 8 Beers on tap. Full bar. The bar is permanent so you’re not paying someone to serve behind a table. It’s full bar- glassware. And it’s beautiful. The reason we gave 4 stars is the time pre-ceremony. They rent the space out Friday, Saturday and Sunday and unfortunately do not offer rehearsal time in the space unless it is not rented out the night before. You choose how many hours you want the bar open and pay per guest which is pretty standard. But no alcohol on the property when the bar is not open. This does not allow for anything pre-ceremony. If you’re onsite doing pictures, getting ready or anything, you can’t have anything. There was also no staff onsite until the bar staff was there prepping. So we had a few hours where the thermostat could not be adjusted (it was august and really hot.) The men were holed up in a room so I could come out and take some pre-ceremony pictures and were sweating. I was upstairs in the loft area and we couldn’t get the air going. The air was on- just not as cool as we would have liked it. The Bluetooth stereo we were given access to could not be accessed because we couldn’t figure it out etc. the bar area was closed off completely which meant we couldn’t do pre-ceremony pictures here like we wanted. Instead we had to do it after ceremony when guests were wanting to be drinking. Just would be nice to have someone onsite to give us access to these things and help out. Otherwise, we were so happy with this venue.beautiful and industrial....
Read moreWe had our wedding at The Brick on September 30th, 2017. We mostly worked with Keith, who always had timely and informational responses. If you're looking for a softy, hand-holding venue manager, Keith isn't it. But he always was extremely clear when answering the many questions we had. He even let us come visit on our own on a Sunday (normally not allowed due to usually having an event) and let us hang out and ask questions for over an hour.
The Brick itself is absolutely beautiful and unique. It's truly a blank space where you can create any vibe you want through bringing in any other vendors at your discretion (although you do have to have your caterer approved by The Brick).
They also were accommodating to the way we wanted to handle the bar tab, which was really helpful in dealing with our budget. The one issue we did have in handling the bar tab at the actual event was resolved quickly and professionally once the mistake was realized. Overall - I wouldn't have wanted to have our wedding anywhere else! The Brick was perfect and helped us create the most beautiful day for...
Read moreAMAZING! My husband and I had an amazing experience having our wedding reception at The Brick. The management was incredible! They answered all of our questions right away and helped us through the stress on last minute RSVP's. The pictures of The Brick online are great, but in person and with all of the decorations, it was the most beautiful atmosphere I could have ever imagined! We decided to use their tables, chairs, table tops, and bar stools in our package. They were definitely worth the money! Compared to other rental companies, they were the best. The bar had delicious drinks across the board; beer, wine and mixed drinks. Our guests were so impressed by how great they all were! I would 100% recommend The Brick to anyone. If you're looking for an amazing bar, beautiful atmosphere near the river, and more than enough space for anything you want to include, The Brick is the...
