I have been going to this park since I was in diapers and I have not one bad memory of this place. Everytime I have visited this park or traveled through it in my youth, good vibrations have always surrounded me. As a younging : If we weren't running wild on the golf course, we were at Millcreek park exploring and making a race track out the bike path with my minibike & Go-Karts, running and playing on the mountainous hill, riding our bikes up the hill without stopping (if you could) and then daring to ride down it, sledding and sliding and rolling down the hill in the snow and then the trails turned to ice. Yep, damn near went into the icy lake a few times not being able to stop the red rider...lol! I even have memories when there was a swimming pool there open for the summer. The ice cream video rental shop was the only place around that had the Double Dragon arcade game and me and my jomie would play that mess all day long and then hit Ricardo's up for some pizza and then get our hair cut at Ott's Barber shop. After the day was just about done we'd stop at the Paper-nook to get a couple Dr.Peppers and a couple packs of Fleer baseball cards to trade for the ride home. Good life back then. I love...
Read moreOutstanding park! First, it has THE best hill for sledding-HANDS DOWN! It's also good for an unbelievable workout as well-it's steep enough in some areas for the experienced and also has a trail that's feasible for anyone to traverse with a fair amount of ease. The park offers scenic running/walking/biking trails that go around the perimeter of the park, through the woods and around/by the Rancocas creek-they're marked for distance, which is a plus. You're guaranteed to see lots of wildlife at any time of the year. There are several pavilions that have grills with lots of parking always available. It also has tennis courts, a couple playgrounds for the little ones, a big lake that has a trail around it that features some pretty cool workout stations and is home to lots of geese and sometimes ducks. There is ample field and forest space as well. There are a few porta potties here and there. It generally feels safe and is definitely family friendly. Mill Creek is one THE best parks in Burlington...
Read moreI grew up with this park and today it's still beautiful. It has a trail where you can bike or walk through the woods and enjoy nature. A hill that overlooks a pond. There's a few areas where you can have events for small parties, a tennis court and playgrounds. The jazz festival and other big events happen here. Unfortunately there have been people who have been doing drugs in the park from what I hear, the last event I attended was great but there was an altercation after I left. Nevertheless it luckily has not taken away the beauty of this park. Unfortunately bad things do happen every where so don't let it steer you away it's a...
