My family arrived early on a Saturday (10:30 AM) and the check in was relatively fast. When we entered the premises, we were amazed with all the cool activities for all ages and were impressed with Abby and Elmo parading around the place. Again, since we arrived early, we did not have to wait our turn to have fun playing any games. I really liked that they have benches to take a rest, numerous tables to enjoy a snack and your usual porta potties, scattered around the place.
We did not experience any rudeness from staff members, but rather quite the oposite. As someone who is trying to watch their sugar intake, but still want to enjoy something delicious from time to time, I asked if they sold donuts without being covered in sugar and they said no, but I could ask at the white tent to see if they could make some, and they did! They were warm and tasty when I got them! I also liked that they sell large lemonades for 6 bucks and refills for $4. The only thing I would suggest is to perhaps train staff to ask customers which type of corn they are purchasing because I saw a sign that said Mexican Corn, so I mistakenly said I wanted a corn and thats what they gave me, a plain corn, where I had to add standard toppings (salt, pepper, parm cheese) myself. I did not realize that they sold plain corn AND Mexican corn, but no biggie, I didn't question it since they were very courteous in giving me freshly made donuts sans sugar. I can't comment about the other food that's sold there since we did not purchase any, but they have your usual fair food of fries, nuggets, bbq, etc.
The wait for the hayride to the pumpkin patch/apple orchard took about 5 minutes (around 1:30 pm) and the patch itself is so nicely decorated with various cartoon characters and some repeated games to play from the other field like making bubbles and giant chess, and of course, shooting the corn or apples for an extra cost. They had wagons to haul your pumpkins around the patch, but once you depart from the patch, you're on your own. You can also purchase pumpkins at the shop by the entrance (first area) if you do not want to haul your pumpkin and apples around the gaming areas.
Overall, we spent around 6 hours there because we were having so much fun and we will definitely be back next year! They accept credit cards and cash, just don't forget to wear sunscreen and a hat to avoid a sunburn...
Read moreWe had the distinct pleasure of visiting your beautiful farm last Monday, October 9th. The day was marked by unforgettable experiences amidst the robust apple trees and radiant sunflowers, offering an oasis of unrivaled tranquility and natural beauty.
The picturesque environment you've meticulously cultivated is truly enchanting, providing an ideal backdrop for creating and capturing treasured family moments. Every detail of the farm exudes the love and care invested into its maintenance, making the overall atmosphere irresistibly charming.
However, I must bring to your attention a small incident that occurred at the end of our visit, specifically in the apple section near the parking area as closing time approached. An employee in the counter section approached us quite abruptly, questioning a purchase we had indeed made. Her demeanor and way of addressing us created a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere, starkly contrasting the welcoming and serene vibe your farm typically provides.
We fully understand the importance of ensuring customers pay for their selected items, but there are undoubtedly more courteous and respectful ways to handle such situations without causing discomfort among visitors. Customer service should always be a priority, even in moments of misunderstanding or confusion.
It’s important to highlight that this experience doesn't overshadow the intrinsic beauty and charm your farm possesses. The aim of our review is merely to pinpoint an area of opportunity for improvement, enhancing the experience for guests who choose to spend a day at your wonderful venue. Addressing this matter will undoubtedly make everyone's future visits even more enjoyable and hassle-free.
In summary, despite this minor hiccup, our day on your farm was joyous and delightful overall. The breathtaking views and charming ambiance created the perfect setting for family enjoyment. We wholeheartedly recommend your farm to others and eagerly anticipate...
Read moreMy First Visit to a Charming Local Farm – A Day of Strawberries, Fun, and Nature! 🍓🌿
This weekend, I discovered a hidden gem—and all credit goes to my co-worker who suggested this amazing farm to me. It was my very first visit, and I’m genuinely thankful she recommended it, because it turned out to be more than just a strawberry-picking spot—it was a full-on experience! I started my day with strawberry picking, and let me tell you, there's nothing quite like walking through rows of fresh strawberries under the sun and filling your own basket. The berries were juicy, sweet, and perfect for snacking right away. What surprised me even more was how much more this place offers throughout the year—in June and July, they have raspberry and blueberry picking, followed by apples and pumpkins in the later months. So, it’s definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to season after season. Next to the fields, they had a lovely farmer’s market that sold homemade honey, jams, syrup, and a wide range of locally grown vegetables, fruits, and fresh flowers. I even found a section filled with saplings—herbs, vegetables, fruit plants, and beautiful flowering plants ready for home gardens! What made it even more family-friendly were the fun activities for kids and adults alike. They had chickens and goats, which kids were absolutely loving, and food stalls that filled the air with the smell of freshly made donuts. All in all, it was a joyful, refreshing day filled with nature, good food, and simple pleasures. Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or even solo, this farm has something for everyone. I’m already planning my next visit—maybe for...
