The service was very accommodating. I liked the pizza, but I asked for it to be extra crispy/well done and it was not crispy. It came close. The Crispy Chicken Salad was generous in portion but the chicken was a bit dry. It is a good salad, the chicken just needs to be a bit juicer and tender. The Capellini w/ Broccoli, Oil, & Garlic was definitely a good portion size. It did lack the garlic flavor that I was expecting. With a little fixing, it was good. This does come with a salad and small garlic buttered bread. The Capriccio Grilled Chicken Wrap was generous in size, was a little dry, and the fries that came with it were definitely old. I requested no cheese on the wrap, but there was cheese on the chicken in the end of the wrap. It was clear that an attempt had been made to remove the cheese, but it was unsuccessful. The wrap did not have balsamic.
Cons: Did not provide enough dressing for the dishes. One large dressing was provided for the chicken salad and one small for the side salad. There was no balsamic dressing for the wrap. The cheese on the chicken wrap. The buttered bread. No cheese/dairy was requested for every item. That is hard to overlook. Pizza was not crispy/well done. Delivery may have affected that. Dry chicken, old fries, and lack of flavor in the pasta.

Someone says the owner is rude to them after they ordered a $19 pasta meal. There are no $19 pasta meals on the menu. Check it out... menu is online. I've never had them turn me away for using any form of payment, they've always been honest and friendly. Even when I'm just grabbing a slice, I'll still see the owner walking into the restaurant section and speak with the customers - asking them if everything is ok, if they need anything, etc.
I have been a loyal customer for close to 15 years and I am WELL KNOWN for being picky about the places I will get food from. The food and service quality have obviously paid off, as well. If any of the poor reviews were true, I'm sure that Capriccios would not have undergone the renovation it did. I never thought the place was ugly but it was a typical pizzeria. I visited Capriccio's Pizza & Restaurant recently, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The person serving my pizza slices handled the food with bare hands, without wearing gloves, and then went straight to the register to charge me. While I was waiting, I noticed the same person touching his nose, mouth, eye, and ear—all without washing his hands or using any kind of protection. This was a clear violation of basic food safety standards.
When I raised the issue and asked to speak to the person in charge, the response was dismissive. Instead of addressing my concern professionally, the woman who came to assist me immediately asked, "Who was it?" and then cut me off, responding with an exasperated, "Oh my God," as if I was overreacting by simply asking for proper hygiene in a food establishment.
As someone who values cleanliness and proper handling of food, this experience left me very disappointed. Hygiene and customer service should be top priorities in any restaurant, and sadly, that wasn't the case here.
I would suggest management take these concerns seriously to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all. ———————————————————————— Experiencia Decepcionante e Insalubre
Visité Capriccio's Pizza & Restaurant recientemente, y lamentablemente, mi experiencia fue muy desagradable. La persona que servía mis porciones de pizza las manejó con las manos desnudas, sin usar guantes, y luego fue directamente a la caja registradora para cobrarme. Mientras esperaba, noté que la misma persona se tocaba la nariz, la boca, los ojos y las orejas, todo sin lavarse las manos ni usar ningún tipo de protección. Esto fue una clara violación de las normas básicas de seguridad alimentaria.
Cuando planteé el problema y pedí hablar con la persona a cargo, la respuesta fue despectiva. En lugar de abordar mi preocupación de manera profesional, la mujer que vino a atenderme me preguntó rápidamente, "¿Quién fue?" y luego me interrumpió diciendo: "Ay, por Dios", como si estuviera exagerando por simplemente pedir una higiene adecuada en un establecimiento de comida.
Como alguien que valora la limpieza y el manejo adecuado de los alimentos, esta experiencia me dejó muy decepcionado/a. La higiene y el servicio al cliente deberían ser las principales prioridades en cualquier restaurante, y lamentablemente, no fue el caso aquí.
Sugiero que la gerencia tome en serio estas preocupaciones para garantizar un ambiente seguro y acogedor para todos...
