It took me quite awhile to try and put into words just how amazing Craig is. This is the most heartfelt review I have ever left. My brother in law passed away a couple days ago leaving my sister and their 4 year old son to battle this world without him. My brother in law served in the Army and went to Iraq and Afghanistan during operation Iraqi freedom. His funeral is set for this Saturday and the funeral home needed his dress greens today and only have a 2hr window in which to bring his clothes over. When we went to get his dress clothes his pants and hat were missing. My brother and I called around every place around us including the vfw and American Legion with absolutely no luck we finally ran across Military Connection. I called and spoke to Craig who surprisingly answered the phone even though they didn't open up for another hour or so, as I was talking with Craig he told me they don't usually have anything that recent but he would look and to call back in a few to see what he was able to come up with. With in 10 min Craig called back and found the pants and shoes we were needing. What an absolute blessing this man was as he turned my sisters tears into a smile which hasn't happened since his passing. When I asked how much Craig told me it was on the house as Craig is a fellow Army brother. Craig is definitely an amazing man with a huge heart. Anyone who talks anything bad about this man is an idiot as actions always speak louder than words. Craig's actions yelled not spoke what he is truly about. I can never thank you enough Craig may God be with you and your family and may your business prosper. Thank you thank you...
Read moreWow!!! My only regret on this review is that I can only leave 5 stars; this place deserves more than that! I stopped in on a whim to look at some WW2 German collectibles and was greeted by Mark; one of the gentlemen who conducts research. Mark was extremely friendly and gave me a tour of all of the items for sale as well as their extensive museum upstairs. To say that their collection of military history blew my mind would be an understatement! This place is a must see for anyone who is a "history nerd" (like me) or just interested in military history. I am so grateful to Mark for taking the time to show me around, as well as the personal stories he has collected through his research into these collectibles. I am somewhat at a loss for words on how extensive their collection is. A very cool place operated by some knowledgeable and friendly people! Keep up...
Read moreYou will be in awe at the vast collection of militaria and history here... As well with the kind hospitality and ever growing knowledge shared from the owner & coworkers...as well as people just sharing war stories... Not only is it a fantastic museum but also a great source for shopping if you’re looking for authentic surplus clothing and gear... Also don’t forget to bring in your personal collected “finds” to sell or if you just want a bit more education on it too... I highly recommend you swing by and take a slow stroll back through time... You will not be disappointed... I’m hard pressed to recall any place I’ve visited back in the day that surpasses what I’ve discovered here hidden away in our city of South Milwaukee... Cheers & Roger Out... Ohhh btw.....there’s a cool lil stealthy black cat prowling about so be sure to give em a pat for...
