This place was awesome for the younger kids to enjoy some water play. The grounds and locker rooms were really clean too. It is a cash only place and cost $5 to get in. Now overly crowded too. Just remember to check times because they do swimming lessons.

Took my daughter swimming and she had a blast. We go to the Park regularly and its always a pleasant experience and great community.

Lorraine Park is an essential part of South Saint paul, lots of space to mind your own business and do your own thing. I have been to this park for multiple occasions throughout the decades and his stayed relatively the same and I'm not upset about that because it's pretty much perfect. a lot of room in the middle of town a pavilion with lots of benches and tables and the rest of the Pavilion area is available for rent from Parks and Rec. the pool is right next door so if you do have a big party in the park your kids can go play or whatever. The big pool has been gone for quite some time though it is not extremely missed, there's one of those over on Thompson Northview pool. This park is extremely easy to give people directions to from...

I live on the other side of 494, and I spent an hour trying to find a public park with trees suited for hanging my hammock. Our yard doesn't have any and I don't want to buy a stand quite yet. After 3 parks with trees spaced too far apart, I finally thought of pulling up maps. I found Lorraine Park and drove over. What a beautiful park! Lots of trees so tons of shade. Spotted two pavilions and many picnic tables with quite a few charcoal grills spaced out. A playground with swings topped it all off. I strung up my hammock, settled in, and enjoyed 3 hours of swinging before the heat drove me away. This park was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of trash and recycling receptacles. There was...

We took our 12 month old here on her birthday. The girl working was soooo slow and took an unreasonable amount of time to wait on customers. Immediately when entering the pool we noticed it was very dirty and cold. There were older kids running around and pushing. I didn’t feel like it was a safe place for my 12 month old to swim so we left. I asked the girl at the front if we could have a refund and explained we couldn’t stay and why. We were probably in there a total of 3 minutes tops. She said “UMMMM WE DON’T REALLY… like… GIVE REFUNDS.” Safe to say, I’ll...
