Great paved trail to walk, run, or ride on. Mostly flat, clean and quite. A few miles up the trail is a lake where people can relax enjoy the view. Fish Lake trail has a dead end and does not lead all the way to Fish Lake, the end of the trail is gated off and a railroad marks the end of the trail. Great place to get your sweat on and do some exercises or just enjoy the sensory.

The trailhead begins a 130 mile bicycle trail along the old railroad route. The first part is asphalt then comes nice gravel but then come the rocks. Too bumpy so I only made it 9 miles. It is a beautiful countryside, so hopefully they will remove the big rocks from a 2 ft wide section of trail. 16th-inch minus.

The trail ends at around 9.5 miles. 2% grade heading south, nice ride back. See picture. No drinkable water along trail. Be safe, travel in pairs. Trail runs along rail road tracks.

This rail to trail has so much potential to be something great. In recent years the trailhead has become a haven for homeless camping with suspicious people always loitering around. The trash cans are overflowing and the bathroom has been closed to prevent drug use. The trail is often used by homeless to access illegal camps and in recent years brush fires have been started by homeless campfires. I would not use this trail if I were alone and female and do not leave any valuables what so ever in your vehicle. All that being said, once you get a mile down the trail it's a fantastic path. I really wish they would finish the route to Cheney which might allow more users potentially forcing the shady individuals...

This trailhead is easy to get to from both the freeway and downtown. You can even ride your bike from Centennial Trail and only have to cross a few roads to get here.

The trailhead is paved for parking. I would caution trail users to not leave anything in your car worth stealing. This area of Spokane has a high rate if property crime and the trail head sees a lot of foot traffic from the nearby motels.

The trail will take you out to fish lake. One of the most beautiful lakes in the Spokane area. You can fish here from shore or a boat/small craft. No gas motors are allowed, which makes it quiet and calm even when...

I used to park here to cycle the Fisk Lake Trail but not anymore. Lots of broken auto glass in the parking lot and I fear my car is next.

The trail is great for cycling. It is paved for 9 miles gaining about 300' elevation. Recently the bums are sleeping alongside the trail within a mile of the trail head. In the six years I have lived in Spokane the brick restroom is always locked. There is a portable outhouse there in April 2024 and it was padlocked. Other than a sketchy place to park a car this is place is just...
