I love taking my dogs to this place! Wide open natural land with lots of space for dogs to run up and down the hillside and back down to the water's edge. It's not very crowded usually. The people I passed by have always been really friendly people, even the homeless that I've encountered down there have been nothing but polite and just prefer to privately go about their business. My only complaint is that I've encountered uncapped used needles a few times. That's incredibly dangerous and worries me. It'd be nice if there was just a sweep of the area and usual spots paraphernalia has been found so everyone...

The latah creek area is so beautiful during the day time. However, there are a lot of druggies that like to hang out here around dusk to camp. Be careful where you walk in some areas, you will find needles here and there. Thanks to river clean up efforts this has...
