Modern TV & Big Screen Repair — Attraction in Spring Garden Township

I knew Viet from before so I called Modern TV for a dead fridge which I already had torn apart in the back. Came over right away which was Excellent but he tried to use a one size fits all repair part for it and it didn't work and I told him I think it needs the specific part. I told him it's the compressor start relay because it keeps buzzing but he said oh no compressor might be gone so buy a $300 fridge at my friend's store but he didn't realize it was running perfect before this and was REALLY COLD. But what I didn't realize was the Compressor was a POS that was probably damaged and wouldn't start because of it's being jammed. I wish Viet had explained this to me about compressors! So we put everything back together and luckily it restarted to both of our surprises!!! Two weeks later it's dead again so I bought the EXACT RELAY I NEEDED and now it works again but ONLY for a period. I got lucky is all and I'm sure now the compressor is damaged in some way like a bad piston or something misaligned. So good old Viet knew his stuff after all lol and all I did was get lucky!!! Still he's a great guy totally trustworthy and good...

Very satisfied. The result is not what I wanted but that does not change the fact that Viet did a great job informing me of the cold hard truth. Narrowed down the problem to a circuit board that was only about $170. TV is worth $1500. It was showing bad voltage and all else on TV was 100% operational and reading well...slam dunk right?. Something irked him about that and he called the lead tech of the LG ( i guess as a tech he has access to folks like that). After a quick discussion and a few more checks, his hunch was realized. The screen itself was bad and caused the problem we were seeing back further in the system. That really stunk but at least I did not spend money on a board to put it in a TV that wouldn't have worked either way. I fully expect that kind of service from a tech and I would not hesitate to...

This shop is completely awesome these guys do a fantastic job they repaired my neighbors television they repaired my Samsung dryer I would highly recommend them not only they professional quick and knowledgeable but very good pricing don't waste your time with anyone else in town I went to Apex appliance repair in downtown York and was shocked when they tried to charge me $150 just to come out and even take a look they are advertised as the only Samsung repair facility in York don't waste your time they are a rip-off and they are trying to scam people modern TV did the entire job for $100 including the work and parts so before you waste your time with anyone else don't bother pick up the phone and call Modern TV they are the best Samsung repair...
