York Memorial Park Complex — Attraction in York

Although this complex has not spread out in the traditional spoke configuration, I do have a number of fields and I'll tell you what type in the field Crews here work harder than anyone I've ever seen to get these fields ready, particularly after a hard rain the night before. We were able to get into tournament solely because of the heroic work done by the groundskeepers. We're very appreciative of that. Location is nice, so not much bad to say. Fields were well manicured the grass was almost too thick and too even in the Outfield. But, who's to say what's too much of a good thing least it was easy on the feet the one down is that in their dugouts, the benches are really really short. They could do with dugouts with some kind of roof also having said that the fences are all new and everything else was just Tip-Top. Plenty of parking space. Definitely worth the trip,...

Very well built, and continuing to be built, park. Well maintained facility and spacious parking at the facility. My only gripe is that the softball field fences are shorter than 300ft and the fencing is half the size they should be. We played on field 2 that had a high fence in LF to LCF and then it dropped to half the height from LCF to the EF pole. Other than that, the field was very well groomed and the dugout areas were perfect. I would recommend going and playing at this location anytime. Discovered this park yesterday. I'm very pleased there are a ladies and men's room(bathrooms) next to the ice cream/snack barn(Cash Only) (miniature golf building), several picnic tables in the covered pavilion (with several electric outlets) next to the playground and batting cages. The pavilion further up has small BBQ grills to utilize. There are three large shade trees facing volleyball court by the playground. Swings and a basketball court would have made this perfect, though I'm still very impressed! Plenty of parking to accommodate a busy summer day.
