I have been to this Popeyes and other Popeyes locations in Baltimore, MD plenty of times. But today I had a horrible experience at this specific location in York, PA. I spent almost $40 in food for dinner for my family. My family loves the mashed potatoes and Cajun gravy it's something we always get. And I always make sure to get extra gravy because one you get halfway down a large order the gravy is gone. Today they tried to give me a small container barely even halfway filled with gravy as my extra heavy. Mind you, I paid extra for extra gravy and I get this every single time. Every time I get extra gravy they fill up a small side container. So I took it back inside n told the cashier I just paid for extra gravy and ya'll barely gave me anything So she throws it away and goes to get me a new one n come back with a new one tHt had the same amount of gravy in it! WTF was the point. I looked at her n I said I get this everytime and have never had this issue with ya'll trying to rip me off for the xtra gravy I'm paying for! I will not be returning to this location. I will stick with going to the ones in Baltimore and Harrisburg from here on our! I don't know if new management has taken over here or what happened but like I said I've been to this location sooo many times the last one being just a few months ago n never had this issue. I visited 2 times thinking maybe it was just the cook for that day and time. Anyway first time the sandwich I ordered the spicy chicken.The sandwich was a big ball of batter and looked dry mindyou I'm in Drive thru I parked and went inside to ask if I could get extra spicy spread being that my sandwich had hardly any. I was told by manager tall guy with tattoos he informed me that extra spread is not allowed I'm telling him I frequently eat Popeyes and always get extra spread he then replies (Not in York Pa) I'm like cool no argument got home and bit into the sandwich and it was exactly like it looked a ball of fried batter I was literally trying to find chicken 😄 no bs.
