The boardwalk is a great flat surface and the sand in the winter time freezes and allows you to be able to do sand runs without too much effort. Absolutely stunning, this beach was very clean and not crowded at all! No rediculous beach activity was going on either. The only issue I had was getting there was really confusing, but I'm not from here so I won't count it against the review. I was really surprised at the cleanliness of the beach and waterfront, so if you in the area for travel or vacation, DO NOT pass...

Very strange beach with plenty of parking. Once we learned about weird rules, we understood why. "No cooler" rule is ridiculous. "No food" rule is even worse. Local authorities make it clear that for your $13 entry, they do not want you to stay and enjoy this beach. Toilets have no signs and no indicators if they are open...
