Was nice and clean today, 6/14/25. Didn't use the bathrooms so can't rate those. The lazy river was clean and safe and fun and the warmest water we experienced. But the smaller kids play area with the smaller waterslides was so dang cold my 6 year old basically refused to ride any slides or even play in the splash area. It was REALLY COLD. I asked the lifeguards how they got it that cold and they didn't know but the ones getting splashed were not happy or comfortable. I get it's hot in Vegas, but it was uncomfortable to the point I saw many other families having trouble with getting their little ones to go in that area.
They also really need some signs mentioning that their food vendors are cashless. We walked the distance of the park from the kids area to the food with cash, waited in line about 10 minutes to find out we couldn't use the cash in my hand and had to walk all the way back to our spot, swap payment methods, walk all the way back, wait in line again, then wait in a different line for the slushie 5 feet away from their window(separate vendor under the same roof).
I spoke to customer service as we left, less than 3 hours after arriving. I was offered a ticket for another day. How that's helpful for us when A) we don't live here, and B) my son didn't enjoy the visit; I'm not sure. So we left without any other consideration.
Overall, might be more fun for adults with a better threshold for extreme temperature changes. There's also no towels. I should have thought about that one. That's probably an industry standard.
Way better cleanliness than I would have expected based on reviews I read before hand.
Saving grace was the discounted tickets we got because they were doing a local charity style offer at the door.
I will say the staff was friendly and the chicken...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was pretty unenamored by Wet and Wild, so I begrudgingly bought new passes for Cowabunga Canyon when my company planned a family event on opening day.
My first impression was very positive, I donāt know if the chairs around the wave pool are a new addition but I thoroughly enjoy having a place to sit and chill while the kids do their thing. I love the music/DJ, though at times it was a little loud and hurt my ears. Not sure if that was just for opening weekend or will be a mainstay, I hope it will be a constant.
I think itās kind of unreasonable they donāt allow any outside food and drink at all, forcing you to buy theirs at outrageous prices ($3 something for a small bottle of water š)ā¦but they do have a water fountain which is the only saving Grace.
What Iām really perplexed by are the operating hours. The park shuts down at 6 on weekdays and 7 on weekends. The sun doesnāt even set until 8 now. Sitting around watching the sunset over the wave pool on opening day was magical. As we get into the bowels of summer, evenings at the water park would be so much more bearable for those of us with fair skin. The park was open until 8PM opening day so we thought that was the usual schedule for at least weekends and weāre planning to spend a majority of our evenings at the park, only to find out it closes much earlier. If you work regular business hours, you wonāt be able to go in the evenings. I just think this is a big miss.
As to everything else, the park feels pretty much the same as before. I will enjoy it more now that my kids are older and I feel more comfortable letting them roam. I still think the entirety of the park needs more shaded seating and maybe...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to neon night and it was such a disappointment. My entire office went for a staff outing and we couldnāt even ride 1 ride. I will repeat we couldnāt even ride 1 ride!!!!! We waited over an hour to even enter and we had bought our tickets MONTHS AGO. And it didnāt even matter bc we didnāt even get to ride one ride. It was ridiculous. By the time we made it inside, We waited in four lines for over 30-45 minutes each and every time we reached the front the ride was closed due to people ācutting in lineā and so many young people not listening to the life guards on duty. There were too many people for the ratio of life guards/staff on duty. Shoulder to shoulder people and most of them were teenagers fighting, cussing out the life guards. Honestly it was a huge safety issue. If someone were to drown I donāt even know if they would have been seen or noticed due to so many people and late at night. I was bumped into countless times. We eventually tried to go in the lazy river (since we werenāt able to ride the rides) and couldnāt even enjoy ourselves due to being splashed, bumped into, and didnāt even have enough tubes for everyone. At the very end I was starving and waited at the food court line for another 40 minutes to make it to front of the line and they shut the window in my face. They were closed. It was supposed to close at 11pm but it was only 10:25pm. The event was shut down early due to the cops being called I heard someone had brought a weapon. There were too many young teenagers fighting to be controlled they closed the whole park. I immediately regretted suggesting this place to my boss for an outing. It was the worst experience at a water park...
