We came with high hopes that we were going to take away a premium culinary experience but left feeling completely underwhelmed. It wasn't all bad. But the negative definitely outweighed the positive.
The frito misto wasn't just rubbery. It was hard. And it was mostly zucchini chips that were over battered and greasy. I love salt. For alot of the dishes we ordered they were over salted. The burrata would have been good if it wasn't for the salt. The chicken / eggplant parm tasted like it was made a few days ago and heated up in the microwave. The bucatini pasta itself was good, but again over salted. The meatballs were very good. but it was curious that we got two meatballs that were warm and one that wasn't. My son who has a gluten allergy was told multiple times that he would be able to have spaghetti with his steak. When his meal came it was overcooked penne pasta and we were told that's the only gluten free pasta they offer. My other son walked away the winner ordering the Penne Al Ragu. This was actually very good. As was my sons steak. The steak was good as well.
The bar was another problem. There was alot of struggling back there. To the point that I questioned wether I should have ordered a drink in the first place. The wine list was also lacking in options. especially if you wanted to go by the glass.
The desert was OK. My wife got the table side tiramisu. I got the affogato and my one son got the doughnuts. The tiramisu was OK. The doughnuts came with a chocolate ganache that I'm pretty sure was Hershey's chocolate syrup. The affogato was more a shot of esspresso with heavy cream over ice...I'm not sure what happened there.
Another anomaly was that this restaurant bills itself as a family style dining experience...This didn't come across to me as a family dining. The portions do not reflect family style dining.
The one thing that was good was the service. Warm welcoming and very...

Our recent dinner at Sorellina Cucina Italiana, right as they opened their doors, was an absolutely enchanting experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the restaurant's stunning aesthetic truly set the stage for an unforgettable evening. We knew instantly we were in for a good time!
The food was nothing short of extraordinary. We indulged in what can only be described as the best pasta we have ever tasted: the Mafaldine Puttanesca and the Paccheri Alla Sorellina. Each dish transported us directly to Italy – a country I've yet to visit, but now feel I've experienced through Sorellina's authentic and exquisite flavors.
The Taste of Parma appetizer was a delightful start, featuring the most incredible olives and balsamic. And the Chicken "Al Mattone"? Oh, it was unbelievably juicy! Seriously, Sorellina, you need to start offering recreational cooking classes so we can learn the secret to that magnificent chicken!
Beyond the incredible food, the staff made us feel like cherished family. Our heartfelt thanks go out to Arabella and Genevieve, whose warmth and attentiveness made our visit truly enjoyable.
And let's talk about desserts! The Olive Oil Lemon Cake was a universal favorite, perfectly moist and delicately flavored. Anna's Italian cookies were also wonderfully soft and a delightful treat.
A huge bonus for us was the impressive selection of mocktails. We happily tried all three Italian Mocktails – the refreshing Strawberry Spritz, the crisp Cucumber No-Jito, and our absolute favorite, the Pistachio and Cream. That pistachio cream is utterly divine – I absolutely need it every day!
Sorellina Cucina Italiana is a true gem, delivering an unparalleled dining experience that blends exquisite flavors with heartfelt hospitality. We are already planning our return!

We tried multiples of everything; the appetizers, entrees and desserts. Starting with the small cocktails, I don’t remember the name, but they were delicious!
We had the bruschetta and mimi’s ca coots as appetizers. Bruschetta had three different toppings, we didn’t really care for the squash but the other two were good. Mimi’s ca coots is like thinly sliced fried zucchini, loved it!
Also tried the caesar salad, heads up there were whole anchovies in with the dressing. We didn’t mind, the salad had a great fresh taste.
Main courses were the Eggplant and Chicken Parm, Veal Milanese, and Paccheri Alla Sorellina. Eggplant and Chicken Parm was in a lasagna style which surprised us when it came out but was absolutely delicious nonetheless. Veal Milanese; amazing flavor and very tender meat. Paccheri Alla Sorellina was a spicy pink sauce pasta that they offer to add some sort of spice extract to, obviously we had to take them up on it and it just made it taste even better.
Sides were the roasted asparagus and brocollini, and the smashed potatoes. I don’t think I’ve ever had asparagus cooked that perfectly before! Smashed potatoes had a great garlic flavor, perfect texture as well.
For dessert we got the tableside tiramisu and the olive oil lemon cake, both divine. The lemon cake was dense but moist with a tangy icing. The tiramisu was made by our waitress Arabella right in front of us with precision and care and tasted amazing.
Overall everything was flavorful without being heavy or greasy which you can sometimes get at Italian places, we left full but not feeling heavy or sluggish at all.
Would absolutely come back, maybe dressed a bit up for a date night or...
