Disappointing Experience at Aquatic Springs â A Birthday Gift Gone Wrong
As someone who carefully researched and wanted to make my birthday memorable with a gift to myself, I chose Aquatic Springs in Las Vegas for swim lessons. After thorough research on where to take swim lessons, I thought I had found a place that was not only close to home but also reputable. Unfortunately, my experience on March 1, 2025, turned out to be a letdown.
The class was scheduled for 10:15 AM, and I arrived early, eager and excited to finally learn how to swim. When I arrived, I was told to wait under the sign that indicated where the swim lessons were taking place. As I sat there, patiently waiting, the time ticked on. By 10:25 AM, no one had approached me or informed me of what was happening. In fact, it took me to stop to find out lessons had started without me. It was a frustrating start to what was supposed to be a special day.
I had high expectations going into this class, but the lack of communication and coordination from the staff was incredibly disappointing. I can understand that things happen, but it was clear that the management and customer service could have been far better. I hoped to leave feeling confident and excited about learning to swim, but instead, I left feeling frustrated and disheartened.
Unfortunately, my experience at Aquatic Springs left much to be desired, and I wonât be returning for future lessons. I would recommend anyone considering swim lessons in Las Vegas to look for other options that value their customers' time...
Read moreDecided to try this pool today instead of the water park. Not a pleasant experience. They had one of the doors open and because the AC is on, it created a very cold and constant breeze. Being that itâs an indoor pool it was very uncomfortable and unpleasant. Other parents in the pool felt the same way. I asked one of the lifeguards to please close it, however, some lady who works there stepped in and said ânoâ because she said it was âtoo hot insideâ. Itâs 111 degrees outside and you opened the door to cool the place down?!? đ¤ I explained to her that it was cold and this is an indoor pool, but she completely dismissed me. Itâs funny how someone tells you that you should be comfortable, yet she herself wasnât in the water experiencing what was going on.
Stupidly I pre-paid for the membership but certainly never again. Highly recommend to all the Heritage Pool in Henderson. Very friendly and accommodating staff. And thatâs really what you want, especially when you are paying for service...

This pool has ten lanes. I usually visit weekday mornings, and it is never busy. It's attended mostly by old, retired Chinese people like me, and a few others, for diversity. Saturday mornings don't bring many more people--one swim team came, for which four lanes were reserved.
Water is crystal clear though it has the mildest taste of salt. Pool depth is from 7 to 9.5 feet. One end of the pool has a ledge that you can stand on. The water temperature suits me well for lap swimming. Bring a full water bottle, if you think you'll need it, for the pool area has no water fountain.
The lighting in the pool area is mostly from daylight through the large glass panel walls. Only a sliver of direct sunlight breaks through to the water during the weeks around the winter solstice
