This place holds a lot of cool events. The most recent thing I was dragged to here was a demolition Derby. It's your classic rodeo ground stadium with splintery wooden seats, and no cover or shade for half of it. So make sure you bring cushions, umbrellas, parasols, and some jackets and blankets if you think the night might be cool at all. The food trucks at the events here are always really good, but somewhat pricey. They wouldn't stop you from bringing in food if you would rather. I couldn't find anything resembling a water cooler or water fountain anywhere around, so make sure you bring bottled water also. Like a lot of older stadiums, it's kind of hard to climb back out past all the people once you've gotten settled, so definitely pack to settle in and stay for a while. The restroom facilities are porta potty, and I have not seen any disabled accessible ones there, so plan for that as well. It's not a luxury experience, but more of the classic small town rodeo experience, although Springdale is actually a decent size city...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI absolutely love Parsons Stadium! There are activities going on year round. My 2 fav things to go see are the Rodeo and the demolition derby. Demo derby is done twice a year, once in Spring and the other in Fall. Great prices on everything from admission, drinks, food, t~shirts and pretty much anything else that you can think of. The staff actually know what their job is and they do it well. That keeps everything moving at a good pace. The Rodeo is always around July 4th holiday. It is 4 days in a row. Rodeo of the Ozarks is one of the biggest rodeos held in the U.S. If you want great seats, then you should purchase your tickets as soon as they go on sale. It's good clean fun no matter what the activity is except for the demo derby. You may end up with a little dirt on you if you sit dwn really close and the dirt starts flying when the cars get moving. It's nothing a little soap and water can take care of it. Enjoy yourself...

Area restaurants would enter a booth and compete for best wings around! Good times....attendees could visit these booths and try their wings all evening long...I went several times.....I would buy a brand new solid white T-shirt and wear that to the event and use as a napkin, when time to leave just toss sauce covered shirt in the trash and put on the extra shirt I...
