Took a toddler to the water park. All was well until the workers left the ark unattended. Kids started screaming, pushing one another and acting belligerent with no supervision. I, along with another parent quickly ran to the ark to make sure the toddlers were not in the midst of craziness. Once there, the other parent was able to locate his baby, but mine was hidden in the amongst 30 kids acting like fools on the damn ark. I moved kids out of the way to grab my 2 year old but she was forced down the slide by 10 year old morons who paid no attention to her age or how fragile a toddler can be. Once I pulled these heathens off her on the bottom of the slide I went to the concession stand and asked for the manager of this waterpark. . Danielle, or something like that, explained there were 17 parks and she did not know who I needed...another smart mouthed, unintelligent child... sigh. Due to Danielle's clear incompetence, I was given to Rachel who told me Ashley and David were managers but were unavailable. I explained my concerns to her seemingly deaf ears as the response was more of an "yea, yea, okay so what would you like to do?" All in all, I rated the park as a 2 because it is not terrible, but don't depend on the teenage workers to do their jobs exemplary or be of any assistance when...
Read moreOverall, I love this park. I've lived here most of my youth. Today we visited the splash pad. There should really be an attendant inside the ark to keep the kids from piling on top of eachother down the slide. My special needs son was kicked in the head on two separate occasions because children didn't wait before following him down the slide. Multiple times children were climbing up the slide as my son was trying to go down it. He ended up being terrified to go down the slide as aggrivated children screamed at him to go or pushed past him to go down the slide. I looked to see where the employees were who were suppose to be supervising, and they were glued to their phones. We were there for two hours and I only seen one of them look up once. One day someone is going to get very hurt and winton woods park will suffer for it. This was June 18th. The kids working that shift really need to be talked to to ensure...
Read moreWe went to the splash pad 2 weeks ago on Memorial Day. It was nice; fun and shaded. I called beforehand asking for hours and if there was admission. There was no charge for admission. Verified online as well. It stated “Free”. When we got there, we went right in.
Went back today and was told it was $6.50 per child after park admission. So you all added an admission charge within two weeks after we have to pay for park admission? No thanks. There are free splash pads in the community and a pool that is cheaper. Very disappointed in the...
