We took a little field trip with a local homeschool group & really liked it! It was cool to see all of the history and the original buildings. I also got to participate in these activities with my daughter 😁 When we left, she said she was thankful she doesn’t have to carry water everyday 😆

Springfield has done a fine job job preserving and maintaining its parks...this is a nice piece of history to not only view but to learn about our community from over...
