Christy Park — Attraction in St. Louis

Lovely if small park with beautiful old tall trees. I only saw one picnic table, near the playground, but it was clean and a nice place to sit and relax. There are a great deal of benches and trash cans spread around the perimeter of the park, and it's also on the bus line.

It made a fantastic spot to people watch, listen to music, and read for a bit. It was surprisingly quiet for being near the playground area. I don't have kids but the ones on the playground seemed to be having a great time. There's plenty of parking and there are paved paths throughout the park.

This park is near the Joseph R. Leisure Park and the Christy Greenway. It would be easy to walk through all three in a day. Many people were walking their pets the day I visited. I also noticed a bike rack.

Today I wanted to visit somewhere new to me and I've passed this park multiple times, so it was my playground-well, not really...its def quiet even being right off of kingshighway! I guess it's just super small for my liking and there was no effort to clear all the cut grass on the sidewalk, but hey-theres a firestation here too so you know it's...
