Hampton Shoe & Repair — Attraction in St. Louis

I would like to share the experience I had with Hampton Shoes (americanmadeworkboots.com). I finally broke down and decided that I would buy a new pair of work boots. After deciding that I want to go with the Carolina Shoe CR8012, I found them available through Hampton Shoes on their site. I ordered them at 9:28pm on April 6th, the order was filled and ready to ship the next morning, April 7th by 9:40am. In less than 48 hours after I placed my order, my boots were delivered to my front door! When I opened the box, there was a hand written “Thank you!” from Tricia and Rob. Something you do not get from big stores or many other online businesses. The Customer service is OUTSTANDING! After having the boots just a month, the stitching started coming undone on the heel of one of the boots. I sent a message through the store website and received an email from Tricia early the next morning asking for pictures of the stitching. I sent them and within minutes she stated she would contact Carolina Shoes about the defect. A few hours later I received an email from her stating that they would be sending me a new pair to replace the defective pair. I just received an email saying that my new pair is already on the way! This is how all Customer Service should be! Tricia and Rob truly care about their customers and I will definitely order from Hampton Shoes again when the need arises....

This place is A-1 top notch. I just went into this what a real shoe store used to be. Aee this is whybim so proud to be born and raised in the city of saint louis. The spectacular isnt always out in the wide open but in the nooks And crannies of this still a jewel of a city. Most think the mom and pop type of business has went by the way side very wrong tou are. They still exist. Like this place. When I walked in I immediately felt the warm hello that was given to me as I came in out of the chilly drizzley day it was. The wonderful lady that came promptly from around the counter to be of assistance got all the info she needed as to what why when and where my needs would be taking me and I walked out with every need met and then some. " purchases I didn't know I would get covered here. The husband and wife team running and I would assume owning the business. Did exactly that..... owned it and well I might add. There were several customers that came in and out as I was there all left with smiles and happy faces and got exactly what they needed and I'm pretty sure was even more knowledgeable than when they came in the door on all things work boots and shoes thank you guys for a wonderful experience I will be back. Amazing customer service and a very knowledgeable staff. I went to two other big name boot companies before stopping by here, so my expectations were pretty low. They truly showed that they have a passion for what they do and really wanted to make sure I was getting the right boots instead of just making another sale. Luckily they insisted on actually measuring both of my feet instead of just one or going off of what I said because I learned that I have two different sized feet. I’ve always had problems with one of my feet and just figured it was due to an old foot injury but thanks to them I realized it’s because I’ve been wearing a half size too small on my left foot. They asked tons of questions about what I do for a living to ensure I was buying the right boots, showed me how to properly condition the leather and gave me suggestions on how to remove some of the chemicals I come in contact with at work to help extend the life on my new...
