Gauche Park — Attraction in Stonelick Township

Love this smaller park. I go here to get a quick walk in during my day when I can. Nice paved waking path lined with trees wraps around an open grassy area, with some gentle sloping, but no big hills. There's a nice covered shelter with several picnic tables and a swing/play area. Restrooms were closed when I went around noon, but are usually open. Beautiful scenery as one side borders open farm field (separated by thin tree line). Nice big sky view, but still plenty of trees to sit in a bench...

We had a post-motorcycle ride cookout there. The setting was great!! There was plenty of space for folks to eat, enough garbage cans for trash, the shelter house was clean, and playgrounds to keep little ones busy. The only drawback which keeps me from giving 5 stars, was that the bathrooms were not opened when we arrived to set up, and it took a couple of calls to the park crew and the Owensville police to get...

Update....WAS a cute little hidden park two playgrounds suitable for young and older kids. Nice shelter and walking trail...NOW although the grass is neatly mown, the two play grounds are mostly dirt with a few pieces of mulch. Over grown with weeds up to my knees. This is a shame that their maintenance people are letting the playgrounds go. Please fix this, my daughter loves this peaceful...
