Sturbridge Town Common — Attraction in Sturbridge

We stopped here for the farmers market held on Sunday. We were interested in fresh local vegetables that could be purchased using the HIP program. We saw one vendor that displayed a sign noting SNAP & HIP accepted.

All produce looked freshly picked. The Blueberries tasted amazing, as did the cucumbers. Corn, we haven't cooked yet, but it looks very good.

It's nice as town commons go. I was there during a festival; they had live music, henna, etc. The library was selling off their deaccessioned books, which was nice. If you're into history, like I am, check out the cemetery across the street. See if you can guess from a distance which stones belong to the original settlers. I...

the Common is very nice but I wondered why they took the Porto Potty out for the Saturday Concert we attended yet they have one available every Thursday for those concert series. there was nowhere to go so I had to "hold it in" the whole time...
