DON'T STAY HERE! We met many people at this hotel, many of them homeless, some are being put up by the state, others self pay. They took advantage of a couple who was there because they lost everything because of the wife's illness. The husband is working 6-7 days a week, his ENTIRE check is going to keep a roof over their heads. They apparently "don't qualify for any state or federal aid/help." So, they are being made to pay cash, under the table to the owner of this particular Wyndham hotel, and after witnessing what this hotel did to them, not to mention the disgusting and filthy conditions at this hotel, we will NEVER stay at a Wyndham brand hotel again, and we are telling everyone we know and asking them to do the same. We travel frequently and usually stay in a fancier hotel, but, it was a last minute trip, so we just booked the first and closest room we could find. While we were there, our toilet and bathtub backed up 3 times, as did 2 other rooms on the second floor and 1 on the first floor. While outside smoking a cigarette, we heard a couple asking why they were told to leave the hotel immediately. They were being kicked out because the hotel blamed them for causing the plumbing problems! According to the couple, they were in one room for over a month and they're toilet had been backing up since the 2nd day there. They finally got a handicapped room, which they should have had since day one as both had disabilities. However, as soon as they moved into the handicapped room, which was 2 or 3 doors down from their original room, the toilet backed up. They blamed the couple for this! The plumbing is backing up all over their hotel, and, according to one housekeeper and other long term guests, it's been backing up FOR YEARS. But, this greedy owner blamed the couple, tried to extort MORE money from the couple, and REFUSED TO REFUND THE 4 DAYS THEY PAID IN ADVANCE!! They literally stole from a couple who are going through hell. We informed this couple that we too had plumbing issues during our stay, as had other people, and we gave them our information so they can (and we hope they do) file a suit against these people. They are a wonderful couple who have fallen on hard times. I think the wife needs a kidney or something involving kidney failure. The fact that WYNDHAM STEALS FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE SUFFERING IS DISGUSTING. The owner should be ashamed of himself. As for our visit? All of our socks were ruined by the disgusting floors in their rooms. When I saw the mop a d bucket the maids used on the floors, it looked like a bucket of mud. The water was disgusting. They mopped our bathroom after our toilet overflowed and then the used the same mop and water to mop our room, then they moved next door and used the same water in the neighbors room!! They also wore the same gloves and rag they used in the bathroom and on the toilet to wipe the sink!! If this is what Wyndham thinks is appropriate, it's appalling, not to mention unsanitary, unhealthy and disgusting. We tried calling Wyndham corporate and couldn't find anyone who could help us or help the couple. We exchanged information with the couple just in case we could help them, but no luck so far. Please, do not waste your money or risk your health at this hotel!! Wyndham corporate needs to check this hotel out, otherwise they should think twice about having this one as part of their franchise. DISGUSTING AND BULLYING PAYING PEOPLE. If the state had paid for this couple, they wouldn't have gotten away with it. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AND TELL EVERY WYNDHAM HOTEL THAT YOUD PREFER TO STAY IN A HOTEL THAT CLEAN...
Read moreWe reserved a two double bed room but when we arrived to check in they told us the two double bed room was dirty so they couldn't rent it to us and all they had available was a two double bed Suite for more money. When we walked into the room the bathroom door was torn off the bathroom was ripped apart and the toilet was laying on its back on a blanket in the bathtub. When we pulled back the blankets there was hair on the sheets and little black fuzzy things so we told the office we couldn't accept the room naturally. They sent us from that one to a king-size suite where when we pulled back the blankets on that bed there was long black hairs all over the place and when we opened up the sleep sofa there was silver hairs all over it in the sheets and on the cushions so we told them we couldn't accept that room either. They sent us to another king-size Suite and the beds and that one were clean but the door had a big crack you could see light around it and hear everyone who walked by the room. The exterior of the motel is in very poor condition as well with some boarded-up windows and some glass missing window panes and drywalled shut from the inside and the second floor decking where you access your second-floor rooms was delaminating plywood and felt like you might go through it if you jumped. We arrived downstairs for their advertised continental breakfast and all there was at 8:30 was juice + 5 sticky buns that tasted old. The pool was drained and even though it was out of season didn't look like it had been used for years and the whole exterior of the motel smelled strongly of cigarette smoke although the inside of the rooms we were in did not. Definitely not worth $118 plus taxes and fees totaling over $130 a night. We picked a Super 8 because we'd heard of the national chains they are one of the cleanest but this one definitely is not. The only positives are that the mattresses were comfortable and the lady behind the desk was very apologetic and tried to get us a good room so I can't blame the lack of maintenance and lack of cleaning on her. She told us we were the second people that night she had put into a room only to find the toilet was in...
Read moreThis was a very affordable motel to rent with two adults and a dog. Booking the king studio here. The outside does not look very appealing and almost looks very trashy as there is a lot of litter and dog poop all over their lawn as this place allows dogs but not maintenanced enough. But when you go into the rooms I will say I was very impressed for the price. All of the electrical works I didn't have any issues with certain lamps not working, the AC works and heat. Water works perfectly fine. Bed is comfortable. The only downsides I have with this place was the service I was given before and after my stay here. I had used them in December of 2022. I was bringing my dog with me as well so as I was checking in I was explaining that my dog was only going to be here for part of my time here so I wasn't charged for time she wasn't there. The employees at the time were I'm assuming Hindu. It was very hard to understand them and one of the male employees there said that everything's all good they will charge me for the full visit and the full fee with the animals and afterwards they will take off a part of the fee after I check out. By the time check out came, there was another employee I don't know his name but he was a white bald older man with glasses , he checked me out but he never mentioned anything about the pet fee being taken off of my transaction as my dog did not stay the entire vacation but I was charged as if she did. I had to bring it up to his attention and he was extremely confused and very rude and he said he would figure it out and he sent me on my way. Few weeks go by and I never get the money back or a phone call. I ended up calling a month after my visit to figure out the issue because they said that they would refund me my money for the pet fee and they never did. Luckily I was able to get that money back and figure out the issue but I just wish that there was more communication going on. Other than that I had a great time here there are plenty of great restaurants and diners close to this motel. You also have a CVS literally right next to the building for anything quick that you need during your...
