CVS has shown lack of concern about medical patients. HOW??? Not long ago, CVS decided to cut cost by no longer answering the phone in the pharmacy. instead, a robot answers the phone. with a limited menu of options, it has become difficult, if not impossible to resolve issues that arise. For example, your doctor submits a Rx for medication you take on a regular basis. When you call to find out the status you may be told that it is on hold for a variety of reasons. However, you have no way to find out when the hold expires. I was told this today, despite the fact that the medication was due to be filled. I had to travel to CVS, speak with 3 staff, 2 of which had no idea what the hold was and when it ended. Finally, the 3rd person actually listened to what I was saying, and only after grabbing his phone and using the calculator responded 'yes, it should be filled'. Three hours later I returned and picked up the Rx.
Now imagine - the patient is unable to deal with the run-around. There is no way to get a ride to pharmacy. The possibilities are endless.
CVS is drowning in wealth. Recently they purchased Aetna, one of the largest, oldest Insurance Co. Now they are a direct medicare Part D insurer. But they no longer can afford one staff member to answer the phone.... only thing i feel good about, is the medication that i take on a regular basis has been in stock when my Rx comes in. Can't say the same for one of there direct competitors. Prepare to be...

I traveled one hour to buy a cream that I had originally purchased at another CVS, but it turned out to be expired. That store gave me a raincheck so I could purchase it at another CVS for the same price. When I arrived at this store, she refused to honor it, saying the price was too low compared to her storeās price.
I showed her my receipt and evidence of what I paid at the other location, and she was supposed to match the price since it was not my fault that the other store sold me an expired product. I asked to speak with the manager, and she claimed to be the manager, which I seriously doubt. I told her to call the other store to verify the information, and she refused.
She was extremely hostile. Tomorrow, I will call corporate to verify this information and file a complaint. Even after telling her that I traveled an hour to resolve this, she still refused to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSevered my finger into two pieces, had it sewn back together. Had an Rx called in by my doctor. David, of CVS Sturbridge, said my insurance didn't cover the rx, but also that it would be ready Tuesday!!! So i called again, questioned the discrepancy, and said I would pay out of pocket for it. He said he was getting it ready. Hour later, no text that it was ready. Call again, lady says we don't have that in stock, oh weird bc David said he was getting it ready. She says well ppl make mistakes!!! I said actually that was a lie, not a mistake. Well we don't have the correct dosage here....so why did he say he was getting it ready then? May I speak to him I asked, "no...you will have to have your Dr call in a different dosage in the morning, bc we don't have what was ordered". Absolutely disgusted by the service, plethora of lies, and blatant disregard...
