This was the most disappointing nail appointment I ever had. After so many months of having broken nails, I finally decided to go with a dip application for the first time. It ended up so bad. My nails were ridiculously thick and all bumpy that my girlfriends were all shocked when they saw my nails. And similar to another post, Lily also said I could file my nails myself if I didn’t like them. She didn’t even clean any cuticles I had (and they desperately needed to be cleaned after not having a proper manicure for such a long time). I recently visited Lily's Nail Salon for a mani/pedi and was thoroughly impressed with the service I received. She was friendly, making me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. The salon was clean and comfortable, and my pedicure complete with hot stone massage was very nice. She really took her time to do things right. On a personal note, when I arrived she was helping an older client put on her shoes and making sure she got out to her car safely - I prefer to support a business with someone who cares! Lilly made me file my own nails just because I asked her to fix two nails that she filed crooked. And then she makes me apply my own lotion on my hand. What am I paying her for when I’m doing part of her work? Am I supposed to let her file my nails uneven and be quiet and still pay a tip!!!! Not going back there again. Also she doesn’t accept credit cards which is ridiculous because she doesn’t think to put the sign up nor does she tell you before starting the work. Unprofessional as can be.
