Beautiful park with a lot of space to set up a day camping area. Water was refreshing and the sun was shining. Went about 3pm on Labor day weekend, wasn't super busy(most likely the big crowd happened earlier on). Would recommend for a quick day trip out in nature from ATL.

Update: 9/22/24 road access no longer blocked. Beautiful area of Lake Lanier with unique features such as a sanded beach area with swimming available along a coast that stretches around 100 meters long. Secluded and peaceful compared to some other Lake Lanier attractions.

Beautiful place but sadly the bad behavior of the people (loud music, disrespectful people, even drunk people, and more) make this place not family friendly. Additionally, the administration need to make some serious maintenance to the restrooms! This happens mostly on the summer, different story on fall which I personally recommend to visit with the family. Less people,...

Best place to 🏖️: Google map 🗺️ correctly point to beach It has $5 entry fee Entry fee payment is automatic through credit card 💳 No human presence, so people might skip it as no one see or check when exit More crowded in weekends Lot of spots but all full with people 💦 is so clear and good for kids

Es el lugar perfeto para pasar tiempo en familia. Poder méditar pasar unas horas relax despejando tu alma. .Un lugar para salir de la rutina . Es el lugar perfecto para leer un libre. Lugar en donde puedes descansar. Y super ni e para hacer tu propio picnic. Puedes hacer tu réunion familiar, tu cumpleaños, pasa dia perfecto...para encuentros grupales. Se los recomiendo. La primera vez fui solo lo descubri y ahora es mi lugar favorito.
