We came to the beach on a Saturday morning. Arrived around 10am and took a while to set up since you have to walk all your things to the beach. There's a bridge/crosswalk thing that takes you from the parking lot to the beach area. I recommend bringing a wagon to carry all your stuff. Of course some lawn chairs, canopy, and a table. We brought our little maltipoo dog. I do not recommend bringing your pet since there isn't a place to wash off the sand.
The restroom is nearby next the the playground. Typical park restroom so would only really use it if I need it. My family brought a gallon of water and hand soap to wash our hands.
Overall, we would come back again but would be more prepared...
