The ROOM was so small and no ac on a 100 degree day., Don't get me wrong it was definitely different. I just wish they had a little bit more . Like if your going to showcase Bigfoot in a museum setting, include movies about him / them . Add anything and everything about him. Songs, music , blurred photos, more stories of sightings around the area, even if it was some kids on lovers lane that saw him . Bigfoot hunters from the area or Bigfoot hunters from neighboring cities or towns. It's about Bigfoot. It should be more Bigfoot. I have heard stories on YouTube about him that isn't mentioned. The celebrity aspect of it brings a bit of authenticity about it but , does it ? There's so much more that can be added to a museum about Bigfoot that hasn't even...

I cannot support a business that cannot support ALL of the people in this lovely state. And I think everyone should be aware that the owner of this establishment is very loud and proud about his feelings toward the LGBTQ community. I feel everyone who may venture into this tourist destination should know that their money for souvenirs etc. supports hateful bigotry. I’m positive the owner of this establishment wouldn’t turn money away from someone he hated and made disgusting remarks about— but he doesn’t deserve a dime of it. Everyone should be aware of what any money into any other the owner’s businesses promotes. If he can be loud and proud on his personal Facebook, then he can surely make customers aware so they know where not to spend their hard...

This free museum is fun but small. They have several exhibits on bigfoot, lots of articles, media of various sorts, etc.

I don't want to understate how small this museum is, though. At a savoring pace, we finished in around 10 mins. No, we didn't read everything, but I never read everything in a museum. That's not the fun of coming.

For what it is, its great, but don't let it be a standalone travel destination. I'd suggest also visiting the free Flatwoods museum and the reasonably priced Mothman museum, and make it a whole day of...

Just went to the Bigfoot museum in Sutton, West Virginia. Wow!! What a great little museum. They had all kinds of Bigfoot stuff to buy. I bought Bigfoot Poo for my grand kids (brown cotton candy). They also have a country store with awesome stuff and a cafe with the best chili dog l have ever tasted. Laurel the owner, was very welcoming and entertained us with the history of Sutton. Parents, if your on a road trip and the kids are getting tired of the road, you won’t regret stopping at the museum. PS, the museum is free!!! August 16, 2023
