I am only reviewing the deli-sandwich making section. DEPLORABLE!! Took a number and waited 45 minutes to get called. My number was 81. The number being served was 71. Before my number was called, 4 people with numbers lower than mine, tired of waiting, left disgusted- no purchase. Phone in orders had priority as actual customers were left waiting. There were 34 employees. One employee acted confused and disorganized, pacing back and forth, moving from one order in the middle to start work on another. She got her cell phone out of her pocket 3 times to check texts and actually texted a response one of the times. Then she had a personal visitor whom she spoke to for a short time. All 3 workers who took an order for the grill, stopped making subs and started work on the grill. Sometimes two different employees would be working the grill at the same time. One poor older employee was so flustered, it seemed, that he would rush in the back and to the front, sometimes carrying something, sometimes not. Being a former businessman myself and once a manager at a diner, it was obvious there was absolutely no system - whether management never created one, or did and it was faulty or the employees were not following it. Either way, customers were angry and customers were lost. Suggestion: no grill or one person manning the grill. Individual pieces of paper with sub ingredients on it which the customer fills out for their exact desire. That., itself, would cut wait time, as talking back and forth with the customer and trying to understand their preference wastes an inordinate amount of time. And why not have only one employee responsible for phone in orders. With such good subs, it is a shame to have the performance turn off so...

In the vast galaxy of grocery emporiums, Market Basket stands tall—like a well-stocked Jedi Temple of value and variety. Whether you're a frugal Padawan or a seasoned Knight of the cart, this is the place to shop with wisdom.
🛒 Savings as Strong as a Wookiee’s Grip Even in the shadow of galactic inflation, Market Basket remains a beacon of balance—offering quality goods without robbing your credits. Truly one of the best-priced options in the system.
🍓 Produce Fresh Enough for a Jedi Feast The produce section bursts with life. From radiant berries to greens crisp enough to cut with a lightsaber, the selection is abundant and well-kept—ideal for any organic-minded Force user.
🐟 Deli & Seafood – A Culinary Council of Their Own The deli and seafood departments are brimming with top-tier offerings. The staff? Swift, precise, and friendlier than a protocol droid fluent in sandwich recommendations. They handle requests with the kind of efficiency that would make even Master Yoda nod in approval.
📶 One Disturbance in the Force… But alas, not even this stronghold is without flaw. Deep within its aisles, cell reception vanishes like a Sith in the mist. A signal-dead zone, it is. If the powers that be added public Wi-Fi, the balance of convenience would be fully restored.
⭐ Final Verdict Market Basket continues to offer an elite-level shopping experience without the high price tag. With just a small upgrade in connectivity, this store could ascend to grocery legend status.
Recommended, it is. Return, you most...
Read moreIt's a grocery store. They have a meat counter, seafood and stuff one expects at a grocery store. From what I understand, all grocery stores have their own brands, the prices are comparable to other store. The store brand is something I haven't tried at every store so I can't speak to the quality of the store brand items (all vary). I have shopped here many times, I don't know the store layout because it's the last store I hit every few months because the prices are comparable, it has to be a sale worth driving for, and more than 2 items have to be the draw, it's a a lose, lose with gas so it really has to be worth the trip. It's nice that the stores in New Hampshire don't all require us to bring our own bags, I reuse the plastic bags and the paper bags often become the compost fodder/holder for the few days we keep it around. This was the only store I was able to find cotton balls (yup, sprawlmart was SOLD OUT) and I wasn't going to drive 20 minutes to a different sprawlmart for one item. It took some searching to find where they are kept, it wasn't worth my time to track down a worker or stand at the cashier and bother everyone in line to ask a question. It is great that there is another store to shop at, but really, the prices aren't much different on food items, the non perishable items are often more expensive, but if it's all I can get, I have to take it. Shop here if it's worth it to You, I'll be back, but only when the...
