Majestic Falls — Attraction in Sweet Home

What a great place to spend the day. Only about an hour out from Eugene and I suggest taking the backroad to get there vs I5. Just be sure you have a full tank of gas :) I parked at the Majestic parking lot, which is not marked. You'll see a fork in the road after the park entrance and will pass one of the waterfalls on the way, just vear left. Parking is free, but I didn't see any restrooms. Once there you will go to the left where the path takes you to some stairs. If you follow the steps it leads to a path that will take you to the other waterfalls. You have to cross the road to link to Royal Falls path. A little confusing but you really can't get lost. This hike, up to the road, was fairly simple. Once at Royals with the loop around path with stone steps is where it gets more difficult. It also may be tough climbing the steps at Majestic once you get back after hiking all that way. My legs were on fire...

Beautiful place awesome views of waterfalls there's a couple you can walk down and get some really good photo shots photo ops there was a family there that was down taking some like silly photos to make it look like they were holding the waterfall in their hand the only negative thing I can say is there was a gentleman working on the steps while I was there and it was one of the steps going up there was no other way around and he had taken I think three steps off so we had to wait until he actually hammered those all back on before we can leave but you know I'm glad they were replacing the steps because you know who wants to fall so it's a great place there's picnic tables up top and then there was a hiking trail on the other side...

In april On my exploring new places goal I found a fairly localish waterfall was like Zoop let's go. Got here and it didn't disappoint either weather was OK ish but even in some rain it would still be worth it. ⚠️ON THE STAIRS ! You definitely need to hold the rail going down as the stairs are warped and not straight spacing isnt precise. It's hard to specify identify through all pics from the 4 locations which is which if you have only been to 1 and its the main picture for 2 locations lol. I'm assuming the small water drop off further into the treck down stream maybe what's called crystal falls?. Not sure I got to the zigzag down to continue forward on the path and turned around and...
