I normally donāt post reviews but our experience here was one I donāt wish upon anyone. My husband and I ordered a refrigerator beginning of September 2020. We had originally ordered one through a box store but because of the pandemic the delivery date kept getting pushed back. We decided to order from Paulsen being it is an actual appliance store and we figured we should support local business. Anyway, month after month goes by. I would say 95% of the time we got an update on where the fridge was, was when I would call Paulsen and then they would call the appliance company. Ultimately the fridge was delayed because of the pandemic and other reasons not in Paulsenās control. We totally understand that. Anyway, April 9th 2021 we get a call the fridge is in. I ask if they can deliver. They tell me it will be another MONTH before they can deliver it. My husband talks to them and tries to reason that all they have to do is put it on a truck headed our way and drop it off at the front of the driveway. They donāt have to bring it in the house or install it. They say it canāt happen. They then inform us that walk-ins have priority over us who have waited 7 months! Anyway, a few days go by and we finally get ahold of a truck to go and pick the fridge up. As we are going to pick it up, we see a Paulsen appliance truck at our neighbors house dropping off an appliance they bought 3 weeks ago. We were furious. I get the delay of the refrigerator was not their fault, but better customer service would be calling us with updates on our fridge and trying to get the fridge to us as soon as possible once it came in. Not pushing the delivery to a month out. When we picked up the refrigerator, my husband spoke with the owner. They had a good conversation and he seemed like a good guy. But no apologies were ever given only excuses. Overall we would expect more customer service than what we received. We will not be buying anything else or using repair...

So the installer asked if I had a piece of wood about 1/2 thick to help level it. They got it perfectly level and tested it and all worked great. He told me to call and tell them, and they could either send a new one, or offer to knock a little off the price. I did not call, as it was working fine. This morning they called me to say they had the new foot, and could be here in 10 minutes to replace it. He arrived in 10 minutes, and had it done in 5. I was surprised since I hadn't even reported it damaged. He said it was in the paperwork, so they ordered the part. Now, the same dryer was 5 dollars less at the local big box store, but would I recieve that level of service from them? A great example to not only shop local, but shop local SMALL busnesses.
