At first this place was nice very cute little on the side of the road but upon meeting the man and woman who run this business it was extremely creepy and downright Southern racist it was so weird I told them my name was Ricardo they kept calling me Pablo they said what are you doing here Pablo and I said no my name is Ricardo and I have a kayak rental reserved and for some reason the old man kept taking pictures of my daughter and her bathing suit and was real vulgar and seem to smell like whiskey or some type of alcohol the old lady kept slurring her words and wasn't sure about the price of the kayak and the time limit of the rental when I arrived The kayaks were dirty there were cigarette buts and alcohol bottles laying around very on settling feeling about the old man that kept staring at my daughter and my wife and their bathing suits and when I confronted him he said if they don't want so much showing they shouldn't wear bathing suits because after all they are in Tampa Florida that was his answer when I asked him why he kept taking pictures of us in our bathing suits overall I gave this a decent star rating so they...

We were seemingly unprepared for a whole day out, and they offered us ice cold waters and even lent my husband a hat. They provided great directions (and photos) of landmarks to keep an eye out for. Larry helped adjust my feet rests after settling in. Upon return, they even offered us a place to change (hubby fell in 🤣). The river and accompanying wildlife itself is stunning. It's a relatively easy paddle up and back, calm river. We went during a weekday and didn't see much other water traffic. Price is unbeatable and the kayaks are in great shape.
