Food and product are always good at this location but the last few months they’ve hired the rudest people. One of the newer guys who always seems in a bad mood never smiles or has a nice tone about his voice he let a guy straight cut me in line and didn’t even say anything about it nor acknowledge me when I tried to say something about it to him. He literally walked away without a word and let another girl take over the cashier. The girl then preceded to not give me my change. She maybe thought I didn’t have enough because as I was pulling out change to give her to complete my order she grabbed some change thing they had behind the counter and just told me to put the change there which was more then what I owed I’m assuming she thought I put exact or under but she pulled that thing out not even 2 seconds after me going into my bag to get change I get maybe she was trying to be nice but unless someone actually says they are short don’t assume cause now I’m out a little change not a big deal just the whole principal of the transaction and last at night lately they’ve closed updown the drink side because “it’s only me tonight” I’ve seen other wawas have one person and they were able to run both sides on their own especially during night shift. Friendliness and customer service at CHECK OUT ONLY WAS nice but food service was one of the worst experiences I have ever had the misfortune of experiencing. First they serve meatball subs and chicken parm subs but unfortunately thus Wawa as many times before were out of stock or so the "cook" says (which I honestly don't believe. I believe she didn't want to prepare the food during prep) so no sauce for my chicken parm. so opted for something else, when asking a questionP.S. QUESTION was only if bbq was sweet or more on tangy side, i life sweet not a fan of spicy or to tangy,I received a sneer along with a look of disgust because I was disturbing her and making her work. Disturbing her talk with co-workers. I hardly ever write reviews but this was review-worthy because I have never felt so wronged. Read moreI love wawas I spend a lot of money at wawas. I bring my own wawas cups for just ice and I always ask them before I got it & tell them I have my own cups before getting ice. Every wawas always says ice is free our cups are not as long as I have my own cups not a problem. The manager Sarah at this wawas limited the amount of ice I could get which I had no problem with however she was very rude and that was a issue for me. I was really nice and soft spoken and didn't have a problem with what she was saying, she proceeded to tell me please do complain. That completely lost me. Who tells a customer to please do complain? I still handled her calmly and told her this is your livelihood, you should not beg a customer to complain. I don't just get ice by the way I spend a lot of money. So because of this I put all my items back. I would recommend the Wawas on waters and dale mabry if you want kind an good service. Also clean machines.
