Excellent Cuban Food!!! Clean and accessible restroom; ample accessible parking. Chef is outstanding and even came to the table to Check in, Asking if we had been waited on, and discussing several of the menu items with us. I Was not impressed by the service. No salt shakers on tables and when we requested salt, they brought over a round robin of condiments BUT it was sticky, gooey, and dirty. The child booster seat was sticky and we had to use antiseptic wipes on the salt shaker and the seat. No bread was served (or available) with food and they had no milk to make cafe con leche. All these little issues are easily solved. I hope they remediate this as it’s disappointing to go eat in a Cuban restaurant and not have bread or cafe con leche (The key word here is leche). Lastly, they add a 10% "service charge" (aka imposed gratuity) then leave a space on the bill and encourage a tip of 20% or greater by providing amounts based on your bill. I never appreciate an imposed service fee, particularly when they add a space for a gratuity, and put the suggested amounts, which, if not checked closely results in you, giving an additional gratuity to the Service fee. That said, it is still quite worth the trip as the food is the BEST. Cheers to Chef Javier. The food is...
Read moreEvery time I visit Tampa, I cannot leave without stopping here. This is THE BEST Cuban pizza/food I have ever had. Although I did not have pizza today to post a pic, the food we had is also worthy of a review!! I ate the churrasco too fast with rice and beans, and forgot a pic!! But here is appetizers and dessert time. I was born in Cuba, I know what good Cuban pizza/food is. Trust me when I say you will not be disappointed when dining here. EVERYTHING is always delicious! There is 2 Giraldilla restaurants, I had 2 VERY HORRIBLE experiences at the other location and I promised not to ever go back there again. But this one has never let me down, it is my favorite of all Cuban places. I think I have been here more than 10 times and I’m a foodie!!….There is no place in Miami, Orlando or Tampa, that will serve authentic Cuban food and have consistent great service, affordable prices and the food will always taste the same!! The ladies that serve tables here are always soooo nice and will never get anything wrong! Btw, they remodeled this place. Not what it used to be a couple of yrs ago. The bathrooms and place overall is super chic, clean and welcoming for lunch or family...
Read moreToday was my first visit. When we arrived, we did not know if we could seat ourselves or wait to be seated. The only 2 staff member we could see were too busy looking at their phone and socializing. We finally sat down ourselves. Eventually one of the 2 servers came over and gave us menus. Then they went back to socializing. Finally one of the female bosses came in. She saw us waiting to order and asked the servers if we had been taken care of. It was only then one of the servers tooks our orders. If the boss had not arrived, we would still be waiting. The cuban sandwich my partner ordered was delicious. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with beans and rice. The chicken could have had more flavor. The waitress was very attentive, finally, but only after the boss got on to both of them. Our server did not understand English and had to refer to the menu with its English/Spanish writings. I don't think I will eat there again due to the lack of concern over the...
