ABC Pizza House — Restaurant in Tampa

Leaving this review in hopes that it reaches the OWNER OR MANAGEMENT since I couldn’t seem to find either on the evening of my experience on my way out’ not even a supervisor! Everyone I asked said they are not in charge! First of all my waitress was Angie who I knew right off was going to be a problem as she had a really bad attitude and appeared to not want to be there! She was also sweating, her hair and clothing looked a mess too! She didn’t greet me and my friend, just simply said what do you want to drink! While ordering our food she suggested when I ordered the spaghetti that I get the special and I said why and she said it’s a special and that it comes with salad and bread then she said wait no it doesn’t, so I said I don’t want the salad if I have to pay for it because I didn’t want salad” she shrug her shoulders and waddled off! She later bought it over any way and I told her I didn’t want it if it didn’t come with it and she said eat it anyway then waddled off again’ I meant walked! So I didn’t eat it for one because she was handling it while sweating profusely and two I didn’t know if I’d be charged for something I didn’t want! This women was a real piece of work! She then came back and asked my friend did she want the seafood pasta or chicken pasta”” mind you she would’ve known had she written it down because it was clearly ordered correctly! We were going to cancel our orders due this women because no way were we going to eat from plates bought out from her sweaty hands or risk sweat in our food but thankfully we saw a male waiter bringing out our food” not Ms sweaty & rude! In fact we notice she couldn’t keep up so others wait-staff were delivering to most of her tables! My spaghetti had no flavor I mean zero flavor, the bland sauce was something out of cheap can and water like’ not something expected from an authentic restaurant! Adding table salt and pepper didn’t even help! I was also disappointed in the meatballs as they seemed to be the fake frozen meatballs from the grocery store and not homemade at all! It was a terrible experience for us from start to finish! Angie shouldn’t be waitressing at all as she’s not pleasant, she doesn’t want to be there, she appeared inebriated, sweating and disgusting! She needs to be fired! We have had hit or miss service here before but never this bad! This place is now not living up to the name and legacy it’s once had over the many years we’ve patronized it! We may give it one more try for old times sake and hope we NEVER experience this type of service again from the waitress to the bland food! my husband and I have been customers for a combined 40 plus years. had sports gathering for our football and cheer coaches a consecutive 10 years and have been faithful customers no matter what side of town we've lived on; however that all came to an end on monday 10/24/22 with order #7685596for the usual monday special of a large 3 topping pizza and a large greek salad, since we have a relationship with ABC Pizza. and have never had an issue with our orders my husband trusted that this order was no different. we made it home to CITRUS PARK only to find we only had a large cheese pizza. We knew it had be an error so lets just drive back and show them , but call so they are expecting us! thats where it all went wrong!!! apparently the staff had already gotten wind from the blessed person that took home my pepporoni, sausage, and mushroom pizza because the young lady that answered the phone special powers kicked in and she already knew who i was by name, why i was calling and instead of owning their mix up she persisted to lie and tell me my receipt does not show the 3 items so they just gave me cheese for the same price of course as the 3 toppings then down played she can give me the $2 difference in refund! excuse me i just want my order corrected then she had the nerve to ask me "what do i want her to do or say" so with tha being said please run me my $2 refund for the difference between your 3 topping large pizza as opposed to my large cheese pie! not that i need the $2 but its the principle because you just lost us oforever, ever and it may not seem like a big deal now but i promise its gonna shed light on your customer care! i will never patronize this business again and i have protected them so many times over the years as my peers experienced behaviors that made the staff sketchy with certain people until I experienced it tonight! your pizza is great, your staff not so much west Hillsborough Ave location!!! good riddence!! and if i coild give a negative 5 rating i certainly would have! The pizza we get from here we usually go for pickup and they're always good great pizza. They use a delivery system called slice. They're not so great. They delivered my pizza with the safety still broken they left it outside on the porch without knocking and they tried to have me cancel my order. The delivery driver kept telling me he didn't pick up my pizza at all. So when I called and confirmed that he had picked up my pizza I called slice. They made him deliver the pizza and this was an hour and a half later. I wanted my money back I never got it back. We wasn't able to eat the pizza like I said someone had broken the safety seal the pizza on the bottom was extremely soggy it looked like someone had picked up slices and moved them around and set them back in the box. The driver kept texting me in Spanish asking me to cancel my order that he did not pick it up over and over. Then when he finally delivered it he never knocked on the door just laid it on the ground outside. I was waiting for him so I just checked I mean come on it already been an hour and a half and happened to find my Pizza on the ground. To confirm he hadn't delivered the pizza sooner I checked my blink camera yeah he just delivered it before I found it and just never knocked or said anything about it he'd been texting me frequently he could have even sent a text. It's the absolute worst delivery system I've ever seen. So don't ask for delivery and download slice instead just go pick your pizza up so you get a reasonable Pizza it's not worth using the app. An hour and a half late as bad enough let alone having it tampered with. Who wants a cold soggy Pizza even if it wasn't tampered with. So at the moment I'm still waiting for the rest of my refund and I will not get it...
