July 4th on July 3rd was blessed with good weather and pleasant atmosphere. Crowd was relaxed with many empty picnic tables in the pavilions & adequate clean portable bathrooms. Long lines for all food trucks. Hot dog truck was fastest & had surprisingly good choices. "The Cow"- well staffed ice cream truck - was worth the wait in an efficiently moving line. Nobody was using several grills permanently installed around the well-maintained grounds. Kids playing & families picnicking everywhere. Both on the same day and in daylight. Police need to patrol on a random basis if they want families to continue to come here. Lots of trash cans and...
