West Temple Community Park — Attraction in Temple

Great well kept little park on the west side of temple. They have swings and a large playground. Unfortunately the playground is uncovered but there is covered seating nearby for those wanting to enjoy watching their children play from a shaded spot. The splash pad is nice and well kept and there is also a basketball court and a few soccer fields. This location hosts a lot of soccer camps/tournaments. Some local youths utilize the basketball courts after hours some times. There's a dial for the lights on the side of the bathroom building if you choose to do so after dark.

There is a long walking path around the entire park and a section of it goes through a wooded area. Note of Caution: The trail passes by the local Drone Flying Field. The Temple Unlimited Fun Flyers (T.U.F.F.) Members have races and fly mostly during the weekends. Just keep a heads up near the...

It's an ok park. They are trying to upgrade it somewhat. They are installing a small skate park. The splash pad is a bit outdated. It keeps the littles happy, though. There's room to do more, but I'm not sure why they haven't. On the north end, some modle plane enthusiasts have an area cut out for their use. This park is usually not crowded, has 3 covered pavilions, and bbq grills. It has decent shading for relaxing without the sun beating down on you. There are pretty clean bathrooms, a playground, a soccer field with bleachers, a splash pad, a walking trail, sand volleyball, and a basketball court.
