We found this winery impromptu while passing through Paso Robles on the way to Hearst Castle. We were looking for a laid back atmosphere where our toddler would be welcome, and Four Lanterns exceeded our expectations in that regard. They have a nice open outdoor area with plenty space to spread out (and sequester a roaming youngin). Their staff is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Rita was very knowledgeable about their wine offerings and shared personalized recommendations. The owner, Steve, personally visited our table to check in and was so kind to share his story and knowledge and made the experience quite memorable. We left with smiles on our faces and more informed and excited about Paso Robles wines. 10/10, definitely will bring friends here when the opportunity arises. Highly recommend stopping in for a visit (they entertain walk-ins as well).

Jackie and Steve at Four Lanterns Winery are truly the nicest and most accommodating hosts in town. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. Their winery offers an amazing tasting experience, especially their incredible Cabernet so rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. The setting is just as spectacular. The place is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by breathtaking vineyard views and beautiful terrain. It’s the perfect spot to relax, sip, and soak in the scenery. I would go back again and again without hesitation. If you’re looking for a memorable Harvest Host experience, this is the place to be. Thank you, Jackie and Steve, for making our stay so special!

Came here as a stop on our honeymoon and it was the best winery we went to. We are red fans but everything we tried was incredible. Our host was attentive and generous with her pours, very friendly and gave us nice bits of information about each pour. There was no snooty feeling like other wineries tend to do, it was welcoming and relaxing all around. We sat outside in the patio/garden area, they warned us it would be a little windy but it was perfectly breezy. We also brought our own picnic that we snacked on as we tasted and it was perfect. We took 3 bottles home, which was something we do not normally do. Definitely going again next time we're in Paso!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Four Lanterns Winery with my mom, who is a wine club member and was excited to share this experience with us. We arrived just before a scheduled event and were informed that tastings were no longer available. However, after explaining our situation and requesting a quick tasting before the event began, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us.

Jackie was incredibly friendly and made an exception for us, allowing us to enjoy a brief tasting. Her willingness to go the extra mile made us feel genuinely cared for, and it turned what could have been a disappointing visit into a memorable experience.

The wines were fantastic, and the hospitality was even better. This level of customer care is what sets Four Lanterns Winery apart, and I highly recommend visiting, especially if you're looking for a place that values its guests as much...

I have enjoying Four Lanterns winery fine wines for years. My last visit was in August 2020, in the middle of a heat wave and Covid-19 nightmare. I was celebrating my 45th birthday and my 8-year wedding anniversary that day. I didn't know what to expect, due to the Covid-19 concerns and the heat wave. Many wineries just canceled their afternoon appointments, due to the heat wave that day. I had, one of the few afternoon reservations that day. Jacky waited for me and my spouse and kept the place open just to honor my birthday and our wedding anniversary. I really like their exceptional wines and beautifully arranged wine tasting area. Four Lanterns winery's commitment to great wines is matched only by their commitment to customer service. Thank you for sharing your beautify vineyard with us, and making our celebration trip,...
