This was a very scenic drive.You do drive slowly through the area behind other vehicles , but there is places where you can pull off and you can view cabins and churches and cemeteries with Graves from 1900s. There is areas where you can stop and visit. There's an old mill that you can go visit. It was very interesting they have a gift store there & restrooms. Also, there was one section of the older houses on the land there that they had a park ranger who was showing you how to make dolls from the 1800-1900's with cornhusk. That was really interesting as well as the old water mill. I saw a lot of people sitting in lawn chairs along the scenic drive taking a view of the scenes as well as people that were painting the mountain scenes. So beautiful well worth.
