There are quite a few options for kids of multiple ages. They have a really nice paved track that encircles the entire park, and it is not a small park. They have a small sandpit calisthenics area as well. Very nice basketball courts, a jungle gym (not a HUGE one, but big enough for a dozen children or so to play on safely, although it does fill up quickly.) They have a picnic area that can be utilized if open, or reserved. This is also not too terribly big. Soccer fields, a baseball field, and then a massive open space. Great for a spontaneous trip, if you want to exercise outside, sports practice, or just to enjoy some outdoor time. They DID also recently put in a very nice splash pad.
