Very delicious! We did see that they're charging a small % for credit card use, which kind of raises an eyebrow when you're expecting to spend $50-100 per person but I def understand as restaurants are all still feeling the impacts post-pandemic. We called ahead and made reservations, and the front desk folks let us know our table was nearly ready so we had a short wait before we got seated (we were about 15 min early). Our waitress was very engaging, and we were seated next to a large table that did get a little loud but honestly, they were clearly excited and happy to be there so nothing that prevented us from being able to hear our own conversation.
We ordered multiple small plates, cocktails, and desserts and will definitely be back again to try some of their bigger plates! Literally no complaints about anything we ate :) definitely recommend the risotto fritters though... I got full and took home leftovers, and they were devoured the next day and were still really good!!
Also appreciated that the chef made his rounds and checked in on tables, without being overbearing or hovering or anything like that. It was clear that he clearly cares about the food and your experience, and that alone makes me want to...
Read moreThe owner needlessly humiliated my wife in a totally unnecessary display of pretentious anti-child rudeness.
We were out to eat with our three children and their grandparents. The youngest of the three children was a baby. After my wife finished up her dinner, the baby was a bit restless and fussy and my wife, being very sensitive to noise bothering other guests, picked her up and took her over by the nearby window to look out in hopes that it would quiet her down.
This worked well until the owner of the place came up to her and told her "Can you please stay near your table? Other guests are trying to enjoy their meals." Bear in mind that she was no closer to any other table than the tables were to each other and she was facing the window. There is no possible way that she was encroaching on anyone's space and her reason for getting up with the baby was to be courteous to other guests.
Obviously if it had been anyone else, we would have complained, but since it's the owner of the restaurant, what can you do except conclude that this is not a place that children and mothers are welcome? It seems to me if that's their attitude they should put up a sign indicating the lower age limit they...
Read moreI’m a young man and think I was taken advantage of because of my age here’s why.
I had a reservation for 8:30, me and my date got there about 10-15 minutes early, the first hostess said it’d be a while after my reservation due to the current table being cleaned. At about 8:50 another hostess told us that the table was just finishing up their desert.. it took about 45 minutes after my reservation time to actually get in. We both ordered the filets, the steak was honestly room temperature and didn’t taste much better than any regular steak from a normal restaurant, just double the price. The waitress was moderate, she checked in on us twice but when we needed refills they were delivered rather slow and I’m an extremely patient person with customer service, but it wasn’t up to par for a mildly high end restraunt by any means.
I’ve been to bold twice and had a great experience my first time when I went with family, but going on my own with a date did not go well. I’m not saying they have poor quality food.. but this is the only bad review I’ve written about a restraunt in my life. I was...
