I recently visited the Austin Hindu Temple & Community Center in Austin, Texas, and it was a truly enriching experience. The temple is a beautiful and serene place that fosters a deep sense of spirituality and connection. Surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful surroundings, it provides an ideal setting for prayer, meditation, and reflection.

The temple architecture is stunning, with intricate carvings and a tranquil ambiance that immediately makes you feel at ease. Inside, the deities are beautifully adorned, and the atmosphere is filled with devotion and positivity. The priests and volunteers are welcoming and friendly, always willing to guide and answer questions about rituals or the temple's history.

One of the standout aspects of this temple is its vibrant community activities. From religious ceremonies and cultural events to yoga and educational programs, the temple serves as a hub for spiritual and cultural growth. During my visit, I had the opportunity to participate in a puja, which was conducted with great reverence and attention to detail.

The community center is equally impressive, offering space for gatherings, classes, and celebrations. Visiting the Austin Hindu Temple & Community Center is not only spiritually uplifting but also a great way to connect with the local community. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and...

Temple is best for Hindu and indian community gathering. Date :- September 6th incedent We visited the AHT for darshan and were looking forward to a nice breakfast afterward. We chose this place because of its convenient location. However, our experience was extremely disappointing. The restaurant was not hygienic at all. The tables were dirty, and the overall cleanliness was very poor. On top of that, they seem to be running a scam with their token system. We paid for a certain quantity of food, but they did not provide the full order. Despite paying, we received less food than we were promised. The quality of the food was also very bad, and the staff did not seem to care about customer complaints or basic hygiene. Too much prices compared with other restaurants

This catering name is Maha Lakshmi catering

I strongly recommend that devotees and visitors avoid this place. The lack of respect for customers and the unhygienic conditions are unacceptable. It's a shame that a place so close to a spiritual site would be so dishonest. Need to compliment about this to food safety and public...

I did not want to write this review but it could help others make a good decision, so here it goes. I paid the temple for a house warming pooja and requested for a service at 7 am. This was aligned and I got a calendar invite. The pandit was rude from the start and said the service was supposed to have begin at 6am. It is not my fault he committed to another event at the temple. He did not even call me and said I was not reachable. He kept blaming me and it did not feel like good vibrant start for a new home.

The last straw was he was demanding to pay him at the end of the service (did pay him as well) and I was wondering what was the charge I paid the temple upfront for, if the pandit is not paid that amount? He said the temple does not pay him that amount.

Update: Someone from the temple reached out to me and I am happy they do take these reviews seriously. Now I hope they did talk with the priest, so it does not happen to another devotee. P.S This temple is a really great place to visit and in my earlier rant I did not get a chance to...

I recently visited the Austin Hindu Temple on the auspicious occasion of Rama Navami, and it was a profoundly spiritual experience. The temple is situated about a 20-minute drive from Round Rock, nestled in a serene and picturesque location that immediately instills a sense of peace. The architecture is exquisite, and the tranquil atmosphere fosters deep reflection and devotion. During the celebration, the temple’s community hall was utilized for serving food. I had the pleasure of enjoying their masala tea and tamarind rice, priced at $2 and $3 respectively—both delicious and reasonably priced. They also offered Upma and lemon rice, providing a variety of flavorful options. I felt truly blessed and grateful to be part of the Rama Navami celebrations. For anyone seeking a place of spiritual solace or wishing to participate in vibrant cultural and religious events, the Austin Hindu Temple is a must-visit destination.

This was a very big and peaceful temple in Austin. It has so many deities like ganesha, hanuman, shivayya, navagrahalu, puri jagannathaa swami, valli devasena sametha subrahmaneyswara swamy, lord balaji, parvathi devi, vasavi matha, sita ramulu, ayyappa, durga devi, saraswathi devi and so on.. This place also have raavi chettu(sacred tree) along with subramaneyswara swamy.. i heard that the temple do all the small to big festivals.. priests were good.. on the entrance itself, to the right side we see shivalingam which was open to public to perform the abhishekams to lord shiva.. lot of people from students to older people are visiting this temple.. overall i felt too good, happy and peaceful by visting this...❤️
