âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ â The Heart of Our Community!
Peltier Park isnât just a park â itâs a true community attraction that blends beauty, activity, and togetherness. From its spacious green lawns and walking paths to the well-maintained playgrounds, ball fields, and tennis courts, itâs a place that keeps people of all ages active and smiling.
We were able to celebrate my momâs 68th birthday here without even making a reservation or notifying anyone, and the experience was absolutely perfect. The parkâs open, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to set up, relax, and enjoy our time together. On any given day, youâll see families picnicking, kids playing, teams practicing, and the community gathering for fun events â itâs the kind of public space that feels alive and connected.
Peltier Park is clean, safe, and brimming with charm. Whether youâre there for sports, leisure, or lifeâs special moments, itâs a five-star destination in every way. Field Focus: Youâll notice several baseball diamonds with vivid turf surfaces and clear layoutsâperfect for dynamic family sports or casual gatherings. Peltier Park features six lighted baseball fields (four of which are turf), ensuring year-round playability and easy evening use .
Multifaceted Grounds: Beyond sports, the park boasts a diverse layoutâincluding walking paths, lush green spaces, and recreational courts such as tennis, volleyball, and even a PĂŠtanque course .
Clean, Open, Inviting: These aerial views and field-level shots beautifully convey how open, organized, and family-friendly the layout is. Itâs easy to picture celebrating occasionsâlike your momâs 68th birthdayâwithout needing...
Read moreMy first time here at Peltier Park (for 10u baseball) and it is both incredibly beautiful and utterly disappointing. The space between fields one and two is occupied by metal stands that overtake almost the entire area. Add the spectators of two teams and their belongings and there is not even space to walk. The womenâs bathroom consists of three outdated stalls and two sinks. While relatively clean, it is a tad too small to accommodate this many people. There is also almost nowhere to park near the fields. The concessions are a tad high and only tastes okay. Not bad but not exactly good. BUT, the park is aesthetically pleasing with the tall Live Oak trees lining one side of the field we are on and the nice looking turf fields. The people who work here are very kind and helpful, although the man they had at the concession didnât pay enough attention to giving change. He shorted me three dollars (I corrected him) and then gave my boyfriend a dollar more. The metal stands are slightly wider than most parkâs and have a thick metal covering that effectively blocks the sun. In conclusion, Peltier Park is tiny, cramped, but is beautiful and full of...
Read moreA beautiful jewel of a park nestled into the Nichols College properties, we come here quite often to walk their 1/2 mile wandering track. The grounds are well kept and the oaks are beautiful there, providing shade on 3/4 of the track. Several exercise stations have been installed around the track to work various muscle groups and all seem to be functional. Quiet, clean and serene, a great little spot to let the stress of the day melt away. Note:. people are allowed to walk their dogs at this park but leashes are required. No water fountains here so bring a...
