They host a French (Cajun creole) speaking circle every Tuesday night at 5 PM followed by Cajun music at 6 PM.

Ranger Alan was also incredibly fun to talk to. She’s extremely knowledgeable and she’s been all over the country! A real life world traveler right here in Bayou country! If you’re local and you’re leaving Thibodaux she is the first person you should talk to!

A place to visit for anyone interested in Cajun culture. Enjoyable little museum with clear explanations on various aspects of Cajun history and lifestyle, accompanied by beautiful artifacts and photographs.
