The Willow Cafe — Restaurant in Thibodaux

The quality of espresso is 10/10. The food is delicious, comes out fresh and presentation is never neglected. I’ve heard complaints about the prices of food but let’s be real for a moment, this is a coffee shop. A fresh grilled cheese here is the price of a bottled tea out of the cooler at any other coffee shop. It’s not uncommon to encounter a new barista who is still in the process of learning, and I believe this is where the generalized complaints come from. Don’t let something like a drink with too much foam, or whatever, deter your opinion of this café. It's so difficult to find a breakfast place in the Houma/Thibodaux area and so when discovered Weeping Willow we were very excited. The menu wasn't very expansive but had the usual. No grits, which is kind of a bummer for a South Louisiana breakfast place.

Ordered takeout. Caramel machiato was delicious. The desserts are lovely! Looks to be made fresh daily. So many options. My favorite was the apple cider bundle. They have homemade white bread. Its a great cafe. Service was slow tho, not sure why when I was the only order there. I think they just forgot to make my sandwich when the order came.
