Oceanside Beach State Park has a lot of ups and downs. Pros: the tunnel is great to walk through and there are tons of rocks and agates. So many pretty colored rocks. You definitely have to watch the tide because at high tide you could get stuck on the other side of the tunnel. Cons: The facilities were lacking. There was hardly any parking and people were circling the lot for hours. The restrooms were terrible. Very dirty. It was good but overall it wasn't very overwhelming. Not much to do in the area unless you drive to Tillamook. Overall it was great to hunt for rocks and if you are into rocks it's great but I wouldn't choose to come back to this beach over the other ones north of Tillamook like manzanita and Oswald west. Or maybe try Pacific City. The beach seems to get really small at high tide. We did see a few giant crabs too. Overall not the best but the...

Stayed in the Cabins right off the beach. The cabins got the job done, but between this beach and being connected to Tunnel Beach, it made the trip to the coast while visiting OR well worth it! I was able to see the tide get high the night we stayed because it was storming a little - which, to me, added beauty. Then, in the morning when we woke up early and got to see low tide, it was so low we were able to walk out to some of the rocks and see starfish as well as a few other...

Wonderful novelty and fun for kids of all ages. You certainly don't need a flashlight in here on a sunny day, but it gets dark enough to slow you down Just for a short stretch in the middle. If you need it, the flashlight on your phone will be enough. Don't miss this if you've not walked Tunnel Beach, and if you have the chance at a minus tide, make a point to go then and explore the sea life on the north side of...

Oceanside is a lovely place along the Oregon Coast to check out, a little bit sleepy compared to the more touristy cities on the beach, but I believe that adds to the appeal. It's a nice place to explore and walk around. If you're into activities like rockhounding, it's also worth checking out. The tunnel is really cool and definitely something to check out when in the area, fun to explore and walk around.

Oceanside is a great beach with very easy access, close parking, restrooms, and walkable to cafes and the Main Street in town. The beach itself is large and flat with a tunnel to another beach where agate hunting is popular. Lots of rock formations on that side as well. At low tide you can make it to Lost Boy Beach but you’ll want to be careful not to get stuck over there when the tide comes in.
