Indian River Church — Attraction in Titusville

I have been going to the fall festival here for 3 years its close to my house and my family and friends always have a blast. its great because in previous years I have brought my dog as well, but this year was the last year I will be attending unfortunately. My dog has always come along with us and has a great time seeing all the people and loves the attention. This year I wanted to make sure I could still bring him and nothing had changed because I didn't see any pets there this year. I asked the lady greeting people at the entrance her name was Kim, and she really rubbed me the wrong way and was honestly quite rude! Upon asking if the event was still pet friendly she responded with "well does your dog bite people?, is your dog going to behave? are you going to clean up after your dog?". I felt like I was being berated because I asked if I could bring a pet and wanted to ensure I was following the rules. It gave me the feeling that my dog wasn't welcome at all really!! this upset me and I didn't appreciate the way I was spoken to. it was a simple yes or no question and could've been worded "Yes! as long as your pet is friendly and you pick up any bathroom breaks!" instead it made me want to spend my 8$ entrance fee and spending money on the vendors elsewhere! I would recommend finding someone who is better spoken to greet your guests in the future not a good look for a church to greet your guests in such an ill mannered way!! God bless!!! These guys put on the best pumpkin patch I've ever seen for little ones! There was a pumpkin carriage, corn maze, mad scientist who does crazy things with pumpkins and science in a show, singing, dancing, and more!!! There was nothing scary about it, so many other places mix the spooky things in and scare off the little ones. I haven't attended service here, but they were all friendly.

I do wish that they would work on a better restroom option. The one portable toilet is not enough for the number of field trips that go through. Especially if the kids eat lunch there, with nowhere to wash their hands.

I’m picky about Church. I want one that gives me a Good “God connection” - a church with a welcoming, friendly, congregational feel, a family focused mission, a church that, at the end of a service, I will walk out of that sanctuary feeling sanctified, inspired.
