My review was under a different Manager, thinks have changed alot there are some new faces it's gotten alot better. My only thing I don't like is the Home office started this whole new thing. You can't negotiate an item, it's marked down as time goes on. I think this a big mistake on corporate. I bought alot from the Palm Bay location the Manager knew I was looking for a certain guitar. I went there alot sometimes stuff comes out and sells quick. I hadn't been in for almost a week he called me and told me to come by he had the guitar I was looking for. This guy kept it in his office for 5 day's waiting on me. Not only did I get it he gave me a great price. I've been buying stuff from pawn shops for 30yrs, when I first moved to Titusville it was the worst chain pawn shop I'd evwe been in. I can tell you it's so different now, the new manager has been in the business awhile he gets it. If you ask an Independent Pawn Shop owner he would people come in get a loan pay the juice for a few month's and pick their stuff up. But two I know personally in Orlando they don't mark up very much both would rather turn and burn. The longer you have you are more likely to take a loss or make very little. Everyday it sits 1st it gets older and less vauleable also it tied up money. Trust me it's way better but the no negotiating thing might be an issue. A little birdie told me some competition is coming to town. It will be a big store they have deep pockets and a ton of experience. It's going to be very interesting manager's and some employee's can make a deal/negotiate with. These guy's have a great business concept, I respect the two main guy's to much to say any more. I purchased a Duet RTF RC Radio Control airplane at the Value Pawn in Titusville FL on 7/11/2016 at 2:35 p.m. for my nephew to have for a birthday gift. It was taped up so I did not bother opening because they stated it was in good condition and tested it to make sure it flies and works properly. I did not question it because I purchase from there all the time. I DO NOT PAWN STUFF I BUY STUFF. My Nephew opened the gift on the 7/20/2016 only to find the wing had been taped as it was already broke and the airplane remote would not even turn on. I took back to the Value Pawn I purchased at on 7/21/2016 approximately 1 p.m. only to be told by Assistant Manager Joe that I broke the item and that they test the product and it would not be in that condition for them to sell. He also brought over store manager Allan in which Allan made me feel as if I was pulling a fast one over on them. I purchased the item for 29.99 an also bought the Product Protection Plan for 5.00 plus tax totaling 37.26. Needless to say they would not do anything for me. I am far from hard up for money and I buy items there all the time. Assistant Manager Joe also stated to me if i would have just told him the remote did not work he would have done something, but since I told him about wing being taped up, he assumed I or my nephew BROKE it. I am not sure if this post is going to be discarded or anything will be done however I feel you as a company should know and understand how the Managers at the Titusville Value Pawn deal with issues that you may have purchased there. Needless to say I will no longer do business at The Titusville Value Pawn and will also let everyone I know how I was treated and will not recommend this place for business to ANYONE.

Read moreThis is absolutely one of the worst Value Pawns's I have ever been to. The employees profile you and change the rules on a daily basis on what you can and can't pawn and deny people the opportunity to pawn because they pre judge and profile them. They also talk bad behind your back. Dominic is one of the worst ones. Not to mention their employee turnover rate is like 80 percent. In the last year alone they have gone through 3 General managers. Brett the Gun specialist is the only one at the entire store that is an good employee and person in General. He is fair and truthful.
The rules change constantly one minute it's ok to pawn stuff in a box without a receipt (believe it or not people get gifts) then later that day your not allowed. So I bring a reciept to them only the reciept is in a different language and now they say they can't take that either because it was purchased in a different country who's language you don't know how to read.
And another situation Dominic decided to open up All the items I brought in them were a new boxes and then ring them up as used because now they were opened. And another final thing they intentionally take forever to get you out of there answering phones and helping other people when you've been there for hours.
Then they profile you and say a 200 item is only worth 5 dollars cause they cant sell them in this area. To which I replied I'm pawning it you don't need to worry about selling it I'm going to come get it back out.
And then I reply if they're not good in this area why are they selling them in this area at the stores.
